I started vending on Shakedown at Grateful Dead shows in Spring of 1995. I started selling online in 1995 in the AOL Grateful Dead forum. I created a pattern book with instructions on how to sew apron tops and strip skirts. If you were in the forum, or the chat room 710 Ashbury, my screen name was “kindgirl.”
I opened my website, MinnesotaMoon, around 1998. I closed Minnesotamoon in 2004 after earning my Master’s degree.
I sold mostly handmade patchwork clothing. I was a vendor at many festivals through the Midwest, and always at shows.
This isn’t my full-time gig. I have a very gratifying career. I do this because I love it.

Frequently asked questions
How do I return an item?
Please contact me through etsy convo within 3 days of delivery to let me know you would like to make a return. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Once I have received the item and it is in its original condition, I will issue a refund, minus the original shipping cost.
For hygienic purposes I cannot accept returns on earrings.
My item arrived damaged
Please let me know right away! I may request pictures of the damaged item and its packaging in order to file a claim with the post office.
My order shipped to wrong address, what do I do?
Orders are sent to the address indicated at the time of check-out. If an item is returned to me I will either refund, minus the cost of shipping, or re-send. If I re-send the order, the buyer is responsible for the additional cost of shipping.
Will you rush my order?
I fill orders in a very timely manner as they are received. I do not offer express , or overnight shipping.
