"The Mountains are calling and I must go." ~ John Muir

As a young boy I always knew I was different. I spent endless hours observing the world around me, finding fascination in the smallest details. The sights and sounds of the nature transcended me to a place of comfort and appreciation for my existence.

At the age of about 10 years old, my grandfather handed me a disposable camera as we set out for the military museum in eastern Long Island. As a survivor of Pearl Harbor and WWII veteran I knew this trip between my grandfather and I was special. It was the first time I was given a disposable camera to take whatever pictures I wanted. When the photos were developed my grandfather lovingly praised my photos and my love for photography was born.

As a photographer of luxury goods, my true passion for travel, nature, and the outdoors is often suppressed. Constrained to a basement studio where my meticulous perfectionism is evoked, my free time is often reserved for being in nature and photographing my observations.

It gives me great joy to imagine my photography hanging on your wall for you to enjoy. Perhaps it's a place you've always wanted to go, a place you want to remember, or a scene that gives that same joy and sense of comfort and appreciation for your existence that I have found since I was a young boy.
