I’m very attracted to the vibrant ever-changing colors of the beach, the evening skies over the ocean, the early sunrises and the calming effect of the rolling waves at dusk. I have a feeling of calmness during the creative process and would like to communicate this peacefulness to my viewers.

I love to capture people on the beach, relaxing, wading, jogging, children playing, flying a kite, walking the dog etc.

Another passion is painting animals. My animal paintings will start with a few lines loosely painted on board, then thick, luscious oil paint is added, molded and sculpted with a palette knife until my animal raises off the board and comes to life!

I also have a love of overseas travel, particularly Italy, France, Croatia and England. These travels have resulted in many solo exhibitions of landscapes, street scenes, hilltop villages, café life and fruit markets, etc.
