About

Buried in Cards!

I started making cards in 1997, but I didn't really start producing mass quantities until I became an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator in 2003. The funny thing was that I made way more than I could ever give, even when I could find someone really worthy of getting one of my cards! After all, giving cards to people who might (gasp!) throw them away is a risky business when you've poured your whole heart and soul into them so, instead, these cards began to accumulate and to keep myself from being buried alive in beautiful cards, I started this shop in my own defense! While I may never know whether you've chosen a worthy recipient for my creations, I will take great comfort in the fact that selling them means my children will be able to stay in college and actually get a job some day!

My cards are made from high-quality, heavy-weight cardstock with coordinating colors of ink, ribbons, patterned paper, and embellishments. All cards come with a matching envelope and have a white, ivory, or light-colored cardstock piece on the inside for you to write whatever you wish or simply sign, so that you never have to worry about whether your writing can be seen on a dark-colored background. If you are planning to mail one of my cards, keep in mind that some cards may require additional postage as they may weigh more than an ounce or large brads, buttons, or ribbon knots may make them too thick to be machined, requiring hand-cancelling.

Most of my cards are one of a kind, but occasionally I will make 2 or 3 copies of a card if it's a card I used to teach a class. If you would like multiple copies of a card, feel free to ask. I may still have the stamps and papers I used on the original (but also I may not).

I love to create with paper and have been doing so in one way shape or form most of my life. Currently, this passion takes the form of custom greeting cards, which I make using rubber stamps, cardstock, ribbon, ink, and other fun stuff!

I have been creating with paper ever since I hit kindergarten and I can't seem to stop! I've painted on it, drawn on it, scultped it, folded it, cut it and now I am happily stamping on it to create unique greeting cards and other items. I sometimes make duplicates of my cards, but usually anything you see here is usually one-of-a-kind! Each card includes an envelope. Thanks for stopping by...I hope you find something you can't resist!

Payment
I accept Paypal, direct check-out via credit or debit, plus Etsy gift cards. Items will be shipped the next business day via First Class Mail after payment has cleared.

Cancellation of orders can only be carried out before your item(s) ship.
Shipping
All items are packaged with a chipboard insert to keep paper items from being bent or crushed and are packaged in a sealed clear envelope to prevent moisture damage. More dimensional cards are shipped using padded envelopes. Items are shipped using First Class Mail the next business day after your payment clears. I do ship internationally. I do purchase insurance for orders of 2 cards or more, which is included in the shipping cost.

International shipping can be tricky to estimate. If I find I have charged more than a reasonable cost for shipping when I buy the label to ship to you, I will refund the difference after both shipping and handling charges are taken into account.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis. For damage claims, I will need a photograph of your items showing the original packaging and the damage to the item.
Additional policies and FAQs
I do take commissions for cards or other papercraft items. Message me and we'll talk!
