Janet, the artist, was wonderful to work with. She was accommodating and excited about making sure that the gift I was purchasing was "just right" and personalized for the couple who received it. It was! The birth of their first grandchild coincided with the purchase of a new home, so she found a beautiful way to include the baby in our gift & the new grandparents were very touched by the quality of the item itself, but in the care & detail that Janet put into her work. You will not be disappointed. I will purchase again from Janet.

Happy Art Helps to Make a Happy Home!
I have always been a maker. I love to create, and I consider creativity my best asset. I am one of the people that wake up in the morning with a new idea, almost every day. This keeps life interesting, and life is never boring!
I work from home in Aransas Pass. Texas. I live in a tiny house, well... not the extreme tiny house, but it is pretty small; only 520 square feet. I live with my husband Mike, and our very happy 10 year old Terrier mix named Auggie. Aransas Pass is just a few miles and a ferry ride away from Port Aransas, one of the most popular beach destinations in Texas. We are parents to three grown kids and three grand kiddos. All the kids live in Austin.
Although I do a lot of my work outside, I always need to do the epoxy step of my Lazy Susan's inside. This is because of flying insects, especially mosquito's. They can get pretty ferocious around here! We are just finishing up a little 10 x 12 studio outside to help ease the mess that happens in the kitchen.
If you live nearby, or you are visiting the Texas Coastal Bend, and you would like to stop by, just convo me and I will send you my number. If you are out and about, you can find my work in Port Aransas at "The Art Center" on Allister, in Aransas Pass at "The Rialto Theater'" in downtown Aransas Pass, and In Corpus Christi at "The Treehouse Art Collective" on Waterstreet near the Surf Museum.
If you happen to be in Austin, I have a small space at Austin Gift Company, located at the intersection of Lamar and Ben White. It is in the Target shopping center, next door to Souper Salads. Austin Gift Company is Pet Friendly, so take your best friend shopping!
I hope you enjoy my work, thanks for finding me, I enjoy making custom orders and....spay or neuter your pets, and please adopt from a shelter. Peace!
Oh yes, custom requests are always welcome. No idea could be too strange for me!
I do enjoy a challenge!!

Greetings from South Texas, on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, where I create all of the artwork that I sell in my shop. I cut. sand. paint and epoxy and sew each and every item. I hope you enjoy looking around.
Mike and I had our 10 year anniversary this past September. He is an excellent carpenter. He helps me make the frames for the clocks. I have a lot of ideas in my head for him to make in the future, Watch for some really nice woodwork.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, I can cut the Lazy Susan's smaller or larger. I don't like to go over 24" when using the 2 part epoxy. I will make them bigger if you want only a varnish finish.
