Ho iniziato facendo queste carte per gli amici, e la reazione è stata travolgente. Ognuno è fatto con cura, e devo piacermi prima di metterlo nel mio negozio.
Si dice che le carte stiano passando di moda, con testi, carte / messaggi elettronici e foto che diventano più "di stile". Tuttavia, le carte fisiche sembrano essere ancora utilizzate per eventi speciali - registrate su un regalo di nozze, portate a una festa di compleanno, inviate a un amico perduto da tempo, utilizzate per un bel messaggio per San Valentino.
Per me, se ho a cuore qualcuno, voglio fare di più che inviare un mailing di massa di una foto con un saluto standard, o inviare un testo o un'e-mail. Non voglio essere desensibilizzato al mondo e alla comunicazione personale - voglio connettermi. Voglio che il mio messaggio sia in un biglietto che mostri il mio calore e la mia cura per quella persona.
Spero che le mie carte siano usate per esprimere i vostri commenti sinceri. Spero che le mie carte siano qualcosa che il destinatario vorrà tenere fuori tutto l'anno per ricordare loro il donatore. Voglio che il destinatario abbia le lacrime agli occhi quando vede la mia carta speciale e sa di essere amato. Voglio che tu usi la mia carta per inviare il tuo messaggio sincero. Voglio che le mie carte portino gioia. Voglio che ti aiutino a connetterti, riconnetterti o consolidare il tuo rapporto con la tua famiglia o i tuoi amici. Voglio che sia personale.
I started by making these cards for friends, and the reaction was overwhelming. Each one is made with care, and I have to like it first before I put it in my shop.
It's said that cards are going out of style, with texts, electronic card/messages, and photos becoming more 'in style'. However, physical cards seem to still be used for special events - taped to a wedding gift, carried to a birthday party, sent to a long lost friend, used for a lovely message for Valentine's Day.
To me, if I care about someone, I want to do more than send a mass mailing of a photo with a standard greeting, or send a text or an email. I don't want to be desensitized to the world and personal communication - I want to connect. I want my message to be in a card that shows my warmth and caring for that person.
I hope that my cards are used to express your sincere comments. I hope my cards are something that the receiver will want to keep out all year to remind them of the giver. I want the receiver to get tears in their eyes when they see my special card, and know that they are loved. I want you to use my card to send your sincere message. I want my cards to bring joy. I want them to help you connect, reconnect or solidify your relationship with your family or friends. I want it to be personal.
