Announcement   Welcome to my world of hand made paintings and prints and printed matter.

Just now I'm featuring a beautiful hand made/designed 2012 calendar, which is unique for it explores the ancient roots of the centuries-old Cinderella story--and includes some of my most recent paintings turned into fine arts prints.

In my Fine Arts "Prints" section, I am slowly releasing various painting series. The first series offers a portfolio of beast prints, culled from my 2010 paintings. The beasts in this section are members of a growing set of painted beasts I am creating to build a Bestiary, akin to those found in Medieval times.

If you're interested in having the original painting these prints are made from, or want to see more of my work right away (including more wild beasts, improbable fictions, and possibly true fables) please visit my website at: www.janewillson.com

Meanwhile, thanks for clicking here--and please send me a message if you have any Qs or comments or suggestions or profound thoughts to share.

Thanks,
Jane

Shop policies

Last updated on November 28, 2011
Thank-you for checking out my shop! Everything posted here revolves around my eternal flow of drawings and paintings, inspired by whatever inspires me--from ancient lore and iconography to present day political/cultural issues, such as the fate of us flora and fauna in a world peppered with nuclear energy plants...

In this shop, I strive to make my art affordable in these unaffordable times. For instance, I often photograph a large painting that costs $2000+ (such as a 60" X 40" portrait, or a 52" X 36" pair of aardvarks in a wintry woods) and reduce my painted image into an affordable fine arts print, always printed in archival inks on archival paper.

Also--annually I often "harvest" my 12-month yield of favorite paintings into a hand-made calendar. Each year I create a new calendar design around a new theme, supported by twelve prints of my paintings, hand-written dates, and a picture-poem.

If you want to see more of my paintings, please check out my website at: www.janewillson.com

Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have via the "contact" section on this website. All paintings are available for purchase
