I sent these to my Dad for Father's Day, because the Swiss bakery he loves in another city does not ship pastry. Dad reports that these were the best Palmiers he's ever had (in almost 90 years of sampling), and that they stayed crispy over the few days it took to eat them--which is rare. Thanks so much!

These are a favorite treat, chewy, packed with flavor. I enjoyed with hot tea, not to be rushed, or shared. Thank you.

These are delicate and light cookies, butter, and orange infuse this lovely snappy Florentine. Such a luxury with a cuppa, thank you.

About

Don't Be Afraid of Changes

After several years in the semi-conductors industry, I decided to make a change of career and followed my passion for baking.
While still keeping my day job, I attended night classes at
Estella kitat Oman, a leading baking school in Israel and completed my internship at Mazzarine, a high end French Pâtisserie in the Tel-Aviv area.

In 2008, almost a year after I moved to the US, I opened my artisan bakery in Boise (based out of a commercial kitchen) and named it Janjou Pâtisserie after my dear mother whose nickname was Janjou.

We, myself (Mo) and my husband (Chuck) are now in the process of opening a store front.

At Janjou , we are dedicated to creating hand crafting pastries, cookies, and savories to satisfy your craving for a little something fresh, delicious and truly extraordinary.
We use only the finest ingredients, from Belgian chocolate to vanilla beans and seasonal fresh fruit. We use, ALL NATURAL butter (made by Cloverleaf Creamery in Buhl, Idaho) and hormone free, antibiotics free eggs. We use no artificial ingredients or preservatives so everything we make tastes of what was used to make it.

We commit to:

* Use only the finest ingredients with no preservatives or
artificial flavors.
* Make everything by hand, from scratch, with love &
dedication.
* Challenge and surprise you with new and interesting
flavors.
* Deliver you a fresh, delicious product every time.
* Make your day a little sweeter.
