Barbara's courses are the best! She explains things thoroughly and makes instructions easy to follow. What a bonus to have videos, so you can visually see how things are done. The temari are beautiful and fun to make. I'm so grateful to Barbara for making her temari courses. It has given me a new hobby that I have found to be completely addictive and fun!

About

Fiber art in the round

“He who works with his hands is a laborer.
He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman.
He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.”
― St. Francis of Assisi

Temari touch my heart. I feel the sphere's symbolism of perfection and completion with every one that I make or pattern that I write. It's my pleasure to be able to share my passion.

Welcome to JapaneseTemari on Etsy! It's my pleasure to join Etsy.com in presenting high quality, handmade items that are made with care and love of the craft. Each temari that you see in the shop is handmade by me. Some have been photographed and published in one of my books. Others were created as I studied the craft and honed my skills. Each one is unique as I rarely make the same design twice.

Shipping is by USPS, usually first class. I will be happy to combine items to save on shipping. If you want a speedy delivery (faster than parcel or first class post), let me know right away - immediately - because sometimes I mail the item immediately.

I require communication with 3 days of the sale and full payment received within 10 days of the sale. As soon as your payment is cleared, I'll head to the post office.

FYI
PayPal User: PLEASE READ THE NOTE BELOW!
Note: Etsy's letter to the buyer confirms a sale; notifies the seller of the sale, and also removes the item/s from the sellers stock on line. It does not confirm that the sale has been finalized. ETSY'S FINAL CHECKOUT PAGE should bring the buyer to the buyer's own PayPal account. If this does not occur, the proper steps were not taken. Until the buyer verifies the purchase in their "own" PayPal account, and PayPal notifies the seller that the purchase has been paid for, the shipment is held.

If you are not sure that you completed your order, go to “your Etsy”(first page)and in the upper-left corner click (purchases), find the invoice that is in question; click (view). If there is a extra-large green-check-mark the order was finalized, if there is not, click the PayPal button provided and verify order. PayPal will then send the seller an e-mail confirming the payment, and the order will be shipped.
