Payments via credit card or Pay Pal are accepted. Orders shipped to a Michigan address will include 6% sales tax.

My work is prioritized in the order of your purchase date so the sooner you order, the sooner I can ship your package, and the sooner it will arrive :).
Most items in my shop are custom and made-to-order. Time frames vary but are generally 5-10 business days for custom items and 1-3 business days for stock items. Please click on the “Shipping” tab located within the item listing for the current turnaround time (the date I will ship by, which does not include shipping/delivery time).
If you have a requested delivery date, I will do everything I can to deliver your item by that date. However, I cannot guarantee the date a package will arrive, just the date that I ship it by. If delivery cannot be give made in time, I am happy to provide a "Gift Notice" which you can print and give to the gift recipient. Ordering early is always best!

I always provide proofs for custom designs so that any changes can be made prior to creating your order and shipping. Providing a correct email address and approving your design quickly is really important to ensure I can ship your order on time. I strive to ship all custom orders within the item’s stated time frame. However, your ship date may need to be adjusted if the design is not approved within 4 business days of your scheduled ship date.
If I have not heard back from you at all on your design approval, I will contact you at least 4 times via the email addresses you provided to me via Etsy and through Etsy convos: www.etsy.com/conversations. After that, if I still have not received a response from you, I will consider the design approved, will create and ship your order as I have designed it, and will consider the project complete. Please be sure to check your junk mail folder if you have not received a message from me within 3 business days of your order date.

As soon as your order has shipped, I will send you a shipping update email via Etsy with a confirmation number and mark your order as “Shipped” in Etsy. You can check your order status here: www.etsy.com/your/purchases.
Please note that the “Expected Delivery Date” provided by Etsy and/or USPS are NOT guaranteed delivery dates, just estimations and are out of my control, especially around holiday times. I cannot guarantee the date a package will arrive, just the date that I ship it by. Ordering early is always best!
Most orders are shipped via US Postal Service (USPS). Once shipped, most orders arrive in 3-5 business days, but may take longer. If you would like a quicker or alternate shipping service, please contact me and I can provide you with a price.
I ship Worldwide; if you do not see your country listed please contact me for a price quote. International orders are shipped via US Postal Service (USPS) and can take up to 4 weeks after shipping and can be delayed further by Customs. Unfortunately, this is out of my control and I encourage you factor this potential delay into the delivery time. If you would like to upgrade your shipping to Priority or Global Express, please contact me and I can provide you with a price. As a buyer you may be subject to duties, taxes and other customs fees for packages entering your country. Tracking information may not available for international orders once the package has left the US.
Ordering early is always best! However, a quicker shipping service may be available for an additional fee. Please ask me about expedited shipping options before you place your order - provide your zip code, delivery date requested, and the link to the item you are interested in.
Orders are shipped with delivery confirmation so that I know your package has arrived safely.
I will happily ship your order directly to the gift recipient. To do this, be sure to enter the giftee’s address during check out as the requested shipping address. I am also happy to provide a gift message in the package from you for no extra charge.

If you are purchasing items to be shipped to multiple shipping addresses (i.e. gifts), you will need to purchase each item separately so that the regular shipping price and correct shipping address can be applied to each item.
RETURN TO SENDER/ WRONG ADDRESS:
If an incorrect shipping address was provided to me or your gift recipient fails to pick up the package from a delivery facility or sign for a package and the package is returned to me, I will contact you for an alternate shipping address and cost to re-ship the item.
Refunds and Exchanges
Yikes! If you notice that any part of the order was damaged during shipping please notify me within 3 days and keep the box and all the packaging materials. This is necessary for me to submit an insurance claim and for your order to qualify for a replacement.
Good news! Your order is most likely delayed and not lost - I have only had 2 lost items in over 13,000 orders shipped in 8 years. In the rare case that your order has been delivered to the Bermuda Triangle, a refund or replacement may be provided for non-delivery after 30 days for domestic packages and after 45 days for international packages. Prior to refund, I will have you complete an affidavit of non-delivery for insurance purposes.
Oops! I pride myself in providing quality craftsmanship; however, if I have made a mistake with your order, I will gladly replace your item at no cost. If you have approved a design that was incorrect and/or incorrect details were provided to me, please contact me to discuss replacement options and how I can assist you.
Yep! I am happy to provide a refund for items within 60 days of receiving your order. I truly want you to be happy with your purchase, which is why I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, just contact me directly and allow me the opportunity to correct any issues before leaving negative feedback.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping (unless the return is due to a mistake I made) and should include a tracking number and/or delivery confirmation. Please ship items back in their original form and packaging. Once I have received the items in original condition (unused, damage free, etc.) I will refund the purchase price less shipping costs.

CUSTOM ORDER APPROVAL:
I will email you a proof to review within 3 business days of purchase. Please review your proof carefully checking for layout/design, fonts, spelling, color, omissions, etc. Your proof is provided to show you exactly what your final design will look like when printed, so please make sure you are 100% happy with your design and let me know if there any changes that need to be made and I will quickly send you a revision.
Please approve your design as quickly as possible to ensure that I can ship your order by the listed time frame. Your scheduled ship date may be adjusted if the design is not approved within 4 business days of your scheduled ship date.
If you are purchasing an unframed print to be framed locally, you may want to order early. Frame shops typically need a week or two for custom framing. For your convenience, I am happy to provide framing for the majority of items in my shop: www.etsy.me/AlphabetPhotoArt
My time and cost for creating custom designs are the same regardless of how many items you order, therefore, I do not provide discounts for multiple items (except when stated otherwise in item descriptions). However, I am happy to provide discounted shipping on multiple items which is automatically calculated for you at checkout. I also promote sales periodically on Facebook; "like" Java Jane Designs on Facebook to be notified of special sales and coupons.
Wholesale orders are welcome ~ please contact me for details. I do not provide products on consignment at this time.
I love sharing a variety of customer projects as examples in my shop and on Facebook. Email your best wedding, reception, or shower photos featuring your Java Jane Designs creation for a chance to receive a $10 Gift Certificate to our shop. Each month we will select our favorite customer images to be shared as samples in our shop and on social media. Not all submissions can be selected, but you can increase your chances of having an image selected by:
1. Sending sharp, clear photos with good resolution.
2. Sending professional photos.
3. Sending multiples photos. Only one certificate can be awarded per customer/order, but more options = better chances.
Feel free to provide information about your event including your names, what you like about the item, and extra details about your special day. By submitting your photos, you provide permission to Java Jane Designs to use your photos on social media and for marketing purposes and agree to the terms stated above.
If you are a professional photographer, I am happy to consider a discount on a future order or other arrangements in exchange for event photographs taken of our designs.
As a designer, I reserve the right to photograph, share, or sell again any design that originates as a custom order from my shop. All designs and content are copyrighted by Java Jane Designs.
