HOW I STARTED WITH BEADING JEWELRY
Hello, I am Jane Bartlett. I love to make handmade beaded jewelry. I started making jewelry for myself when I was looking for a particular piece and couldn't find it anywhere...
I would go to jewelry stores, farmers markets and even do tireless searching online. Ugh. My husband then said to me, "Honey, why don't you just make them?" LIGHT BULB went off! Ok, great, now what? I went to my first bead store and wow was I ever hooked. So many beads... so many wonderful and amazing possibilities! I almost couldn't contain myself! I was like a little kid in my first candy store. I needed everything including books, supplies and the one-step looper tool. I think that I spent a small fortune on just the basics and I have been eagerly going back ever since that day. I now have a vast supply of beads, more than I know what to do with. But there is always that gotta have that one too. (You know what I mean)
So I made my first pair of dangly earrings that I was searching for and was very happy. (with my hubby too) I have so much fun and passion with each piece of beaded jewelry that I create that I want to be able to design pieces for everyone.
I am selling my handmade designs so that I may continue to create more and more beaded jewelry and fund the weekly trips to my candy store! :)
FAMILY SIDE
My husband and I have been married for over 32 years and we have 4 wonderful kids and 6 grandkids. They keep me on my toes. I couldn't be happier or richer in family. They are my inspiration and my ROCK!
