JaysMandalas' Shop Announcement

As I write this, July, 29th, I was recently featured in a blog which resulted in a burst of sales, leaving me with no choice but to say, that any more custom orders coming in at this point may well take 2 months or more to fulfill. This is subject to change at any time, so it's always best to contact me first if delivery time is critical to your ordering. Please note that almost every listing in the shop IS by custom order. Check the shop "sections" to see if I have any In Stock mandalas for sale, categorized by sizes: 14 inches and less, 16 to 20 inches, and, 24 inches. The last few months I have barely been able to keep up with fulfilling custom order, let along replenishing my small supply of In Stock mandalas. My apprentice Sami is currently free to weave a certain amount of smaller custom orders, when appropriate.

Every work is fully guaranteed, with returns accepted with no questions asked and full refunds given, including return postage. Before any custom work is mailed, a photo will be email to you, and you have the opportunity to ask for changes, and we will put the mandala up for sale in the shop, and make a new Ojo de Dios mandala with the changes you request. As shop owner I remain fully responsible for all orders and the quality of the work.

Any mandala you find in my Feedback, or Sold Orders sections can also be used as inspiration for custom orders. Or, you can search my past work by going to google image search, and entering:
site:, ojo

Convo me, with the new *Request Custom Order* button on the listings' pages, and we'll start a conversation to work things out so Sami and I can create your personal custom listing.

Telephone calls typically accepted between 10am and 8pm, Eastern USA time. My phone number is 828-707-0759. Email is jay.mohler [!at]

I've been making Ojos de Dios ever since seeing such yarn and stick mandalas in 1966, in almost the exact form, made by both Huicholi natives of Mexico, and monks from Tibet. Later I made many 8-sided Ojos de Dios (Spanish for Eyes of God) , when "ojos" were a popular folk art in the 1970's American Southwest. Much more recently I've mostly made 12-sided Ojos de Dios, which I believe can represent a whole panorama of spiritual cosmologies ..... although for myself, I create these for artistic satisfaction rather than as any sort of spiritual talisman.

All mandalas are made in a smoke free and pet free environment.

For more, see "Ojo de Dios", on Wikipedia.

IF you'd like to buy by LAYAWAY let me know, and I'll go ahead and set up your choice of an ojo by lay-a-way. Usual conditions are 25% down, and 3 more payments due within 4 months.

see my etsy Reviews for many glowing customer satisfaction reports.

disclaimer: although my mandalas have a American Indian look to them, and are largely inspired by Native American Ojos de Dios, I have no known American Indian ancestry, or registration with any American Indian tribe.
