Distinctive Jewelry for the Contemporary Woman

I make big statement pieces using stones that are large, or colorful, or have interesting patterns. Richly detailed features, strong design and color are my signature style. (Okay, okay, for some weird reason I also like to make dainty little filigree.)

All of the jewelry is handmade. I start with stock sheet and wire and then fabricate it into the shapes I want. I cut, file, solder, forge, twist, texture, bend, fold, mill, cast and set to make jewelry that is truly distinctive.

We live in a very isolated area of Wyoming, and the closest town, gasoline, grocery and post office is 30 miles away. These creations come from my home studio in our earth sheltered home. There is no commercial electricity, so we use solar and wind to supply all our power requirements.

We have deep snow for many months, and usually the only way in or out is by skis, snowshoes or snowmobile. We homeschooled our children out of necessity, and all have gone to college and received their degrees.

I think this lifestyle is what influences my design choices. Unconventional, distinctive and comfortable is what it's about.

Be sure to visit my blog http://jazznjewelry.blogspot.com to see how I make some of my jewelry, step by step!

I am passionate about what I do and I take great pride in the jewelry I’ve created. I choose to make heirloom quality jewelry that will last a lifetime and beyond. Jewelry should be comfortable and wearable. The jewelry I design is for fashion-conscious people that like to make a statement, have a distinctive style and want something that will look fabulous on them.

Returns and exchanges
Since jewelry is very hard to judge online, if you get your jewelry and you're just not happy with it, I understand. You can return it if it hasn't been worn or damaged. Please contact me for shipping instructions.

There are a few things that can't be returned, however. These include custom orders or sizes, or any jewelry that is capable of being put into any piercing (i.e. earrings).

The purchase price, minus the shipping costs, will be refunded upon receiving the item.

If the item has been damaged in transit, save all the shipping materials and contact me right away for instructions.

Payment can be made by PayPal or Direct Checkout, both through Etsy. I do not accept checks or money orders.

Sales tax must be collected for Wyoming residents.

At this time, I am unable to ship outside of the U.S.A. I also cannot ship to any address if your credit card has an overseas billing address.

Layaway is available upon request. Please contact me through the link in the left-hand bar that says "Contact." The terms are 1/3 down, and 1/3 in 30 days, and 1/3 in 60 days for the final payment. You may pay off the layaway early. A $10 fee will be added to the first payment for holding the layaway, but this becomes part of the final payment. If you decide you don't want your layaway, then your money is refunded, minus the $10 fee.

Custom orders require 1/2 down upon agreement of the contract and before any necessary supplies will be ordered. You will be kept informed of the progress of your order, frequently with photos if it's a large order. Upon completion of your order, I will send you photos of the completed order and you submit the other half of the total payment. Shipping charges will apply; please ask for an estimate. If you decide you don't want the custom order after the initial contract, the initial 1/2 down payment is forfeit and nonrefundable.

An order cannot be cancelled once it has been shipped, although you may return it if it falls within the guidelines of the refund policy below. You may cancel your order before shipping, except on custom orders.
I ship by USPS (postal service), or you can request UPS. There is no FedEx or DHL available.

I ship by Priority Mail for USPS, or you can request overnight shipment if you're willing to pay the extra fees. UPS is shipped by ground, but other upgrade options are available upon request and if you're willing to pay the additional shipping fees.

Insurance and delivery confirmation is included in the shipping costs stated. Iin the event something goes wrong, we have a way of finding your shipment or refunding your money. I apologize that I cannot ship international at this time.

Be aware that ANY shipping method you choose can be delayed by inclement weather. We have a lot of blizzards in Wyoming that shut down even the main roads for extensive periods.

I ship once a week. I ship a little more frequently than once a week during the Christmas season.

Unless otherwise posted, all items are in stock and available for shipping. If you're concerned about whether something will arrive in time, please contact me and I'll be able to tell you if there will be any problems and give you an estimated delivery date.
Additional policies and FAQs
I offer a one year manufacturer'sguarantee against defects. Depending on the item, you will receive repair or a refund. Many items have one-of-a-kind stones or gems, and a refund rather than a repair is necessary. This does not include free repair or replacement for things that have been abused or normal wear and tear.

Going through the farm combine or the garbage disposal is not considered normal wear and tear!

However, if you've damaged something I've made and you would like it to be made whole again, don't hesitate to call me. I'm sure we'll be able to work out something that will please you.

Please contact me if you have a problem with your jewelry, so I can make the return as painless as possible for you.
