About

Inspired by Sewing!

I have liked to sew for a long time and take pride in the things I have sewn. Prior to opening this shop, I made things either for my self or family members. Honestly, making cute things for the children in my life is fun! I have seen some great patterns as I searched thrift stores and have used several to make clothing for my daughter.

My shop is filled with patterns I have found at thrift stores, rummage sales, estate sales and antique stores. If only I had the time to make them all.

I grew up in a farming community in Wisconsin and learned how to sew through the 4-H program. I still vividly remember my sewing lessons and the grape Kool-aid. I suppose that is where I started getting into sewing.
