"JEE"
Hi! That's my name. Having my name as a part of the shop name reminds me of my promise to invest myself wholeheartedly into the various aspects of my creations. Every element of a finished work, from the overall arrangement of the design and down to the precise color shade, is carefully and intentionally selected. I truly value having a personal oversight of the creation process.

"PAPETERIE"
Because the shop was birthed in Paris, AR, I thought I would use the French word "papeterie" to represent my love for stationery. Papeterie is pronounced easier than it is spelled: \ pa-pə-trē \. And papeterie is defined as:
- a box or case for papers and other writing materials;
- packaged fancy stationery

What started as a shoe box filled with treasured stationery from when I was a child, is now an entire studio dedicated to paper goods. Whether it's journals, planners, paper crafts, pens, or shelves after shelves of specialty papers, my studio is basically now my "box" of papers, or my papeterie. It's where the OFFICE PAPER NERD in me (20+ years of planning, administrating, organizing, etc.), meets the ARTSY PAPER CRAFTER in me (card-making, stamping, foiling, etc.), and becomes Jee Papeterie.

NO RETURNS / NO EXCHANGES:

THE SHOP URGES ALL CUSTOMERS to please read the entire listing of each item the customer is wishing to order, and be sure of the purchase before placing it. If the customer has questions about an item, please send an Etsy Convo. If the customer decides that he/she simply no longer wants the product after receiving it, the customer is free to sell the product on a personal-level (ex. within Facebook buy/trade/sell groups), but not on a commercial-retail level. Rejecting a delivery of a package does NOT qualify as an authorized return and therefore, does NOT create an entitlement for a refund. To help customers better understand the reasons why the shop does NOT accommodate to returns and exchanges, please read further:

1) MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS WITH TAILORED OPTIONS: As stated in every listing, all products in the shop are made-to-order based on each customer's specifications (size, hole punch options, date ranges, etc.). The shop is pleased to offer these tailored specifications in order to maximize the availability of options for customers. And because of the flexibility of options, no two sets of inserts are exactly alike. For example, a customer may have chosen a Half-Letter size with the Disc Punch, Hours Omitted, and Date Range of June 2018 through May 2019. If that customer returns the product, that item may sit on the shelf and never resell based on those tailored options because not every customer demands that same exact combination of insert size, punch option, date-range, hours omitted, etc.. And as months pass by, the dated inserts sitting on the shelf becomes obsolete. The item eventually becomes discarded, which creates more losses for the shop. And to compensate the losses, it requires the practice of increasing prices across all products. And that is NOT what Jee Papeterie, LLC looks forward to doing. Being a handmade business, the shop invests into raw materials and heavily commits many hours every week to create every order with these tailored options. And understandably, the labor spent and raw materials used in these made-to-order products cannot be reverted to its original state, rendering all products ineligible for returns and/or refunds.

2) PROCESSING RETURNS/EXCHANGES IS COSTLY: In the past, the shop used to accept returns/exchanges and quickly realized that it requires time outside of normal work hours and consumed weekends that should be reserved for designing new products and spending quality time with the family. The shop was taking photos and videos of the un-packaging process of every return for quality control of the product. And it was quickly discovered that the main reasons for returns were not because of the shop's failure to fulfill the order properly, but because the customer simply changed his/her mind, or because the customer didn't pay attention and ordered incorrectly. But sadly, on top of that the majority of returned items were not properly PACKAGED and/or HANDLED according to our shop's standard of packaging and handling. We have received returns which the paper products had bent corners, dented laminated pieces, foul/smoke scent, smudges/blemishes on the papers, and with lint/hair all over the products. We were not able to resell these returned products due to the sub-par condition. The returns were trashed. And because it takes even more time to communicate back-and-forth with customers and documenting on video and photo about the condition of the return, we just resorted to agreeing with fulfilling the returns/exchanges. This created an unfortunate loss which left us with two options going forward: 1) either increase prices to accommodate losses; or 2) no longer offer returns/exchanges. The shop opted for the latter because we do not feel it is fair to penalize all the customers in behalf of a few customers who changed their minds or were not careful in selecting the correct options.

I value accuracy, and therefore it is my routine to check-off the packaging content list as I prepare orders for shipments. This helps me to double-check that I have the correct items, quantities, and color/size options. But I'm only human, so if you discover that the item you received was not according to the item's listing description or the options you have chosen, please message me immediately to rectify the situation. Please note that due to the fact that all items are handmade, there is an allowance of 0.125" in size variances.

USPS may or may not yet consider that a package is lost until a certain number of days have passed. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
For international tracking, if your country is not obligated to provide USPS with your country's delivery updates, then you will need to also contact your postal carrier for shipping updates. If you want registered mail, you will need to contact me to see if registered mail with delivery confirmation is an available option for your country, and what the cost is for upgrading to registered mail.

Please understand that a RUSH order does NOT constitute an automatic upgrade in shipping services. If you want to upgrade to "Priority Mail", you must select that option at the time of purchase.

If I receive an order requesting a rush that has not yet been approved by me, I reserve the right to cancel the order. I do not charge for rushes, and I only honor rushes that I have agreed to accommodate. I know my workflow, and therefore, I will not approve of a rush if I already know how packed my processing is for the day. And if a rush was approved and the order was not placed within the time-frame that I indicated in my messages to you, then you will have to obtain approval again for a rush as my workflow and maximum rushes allowed can change from day-to-day.

Custom and personalized orders

CUSTOMIZATION? No.
PERSONALIZATION? Yes, depending on the design. Please read on.

As of right now, I'm focusing on putting out orders and designing new products for the shop. And so I will not be able to accommodate to custom orders (CHANGES to the current designs which includes changes to font style or color changes, or CREATING new designs). However, you may message me to share ideas for covers/dashboards/inserts that you would be interested in. I will consider ideas that come in while I'm working on my designs. If it's just a personalization (adding name or changing the text a bit), please message me for details. The possibilities for personalization will depend on the design. :) Not all requests are doable.

Dashboards: I have an A5 ring binder. Should I choose the A5 size or Half-Letter size dashboard?

Both A5 (5.8" x 8.3") and Half-Letter (5.5" x 8.5") sizes fit within the A5 binders. A5 is an international standard size. Half-Letter is a U.S. standard size.

The ideal size to select would depend on the size of your inserts and dividers. For example, if you purchase the Kikki-K binder, the Kikki-K inserts and Kikki-K dividers that are included are A5 size. Therefore, choose the A5 dashboard. HOWEVER, if you plan to remove the Kikki-K inserts and use Half-Letter size inserts and half-letter size dividers instead, you would choose the Half-Letter size dashboard.

I have purchased and tested a variety of paper brands, printers, inks, toners, pens, markers, etc. This research has been a time-consuming and costly investment, but I believe this research is critical in order to achieve towards bringing my customers the latest quality products. About the laminating:

>> Thickness for Planner Covers: 10-mil.

>> Thickness for Planner Dashboards: 5-mil.

>> Full-Surface Heat-Laminating Machine: I use a particular brand of laminating pouches along with a professional-series laminating machine that has multiple heated pressure rollers. This means that the entire design is heat-adhered to the laminated surface. And so there is no bubbling where the hole is punched.

How are the items packaged?

TO PREVENT MOISTURE DAMAGE: All paper products are enclosed in plastic sleeves.

TO PREVENT BENDING: I ship orders in either a rigid chipboard mailer, or in a box if the quantity exceeds the capacity of the chipboard mailer.

Can the items be exchanged, returned, or refunded?

All sales are final. Please read the shop's policy section for more information. And be sure of your order before placing it.

Do you combine the shipping rates?

ORDERS WITHIN THE U.S.A.:
The combined shipping rate is automatically calculated at checkout. Orders that are placed separately do NOT qualify for combined shipping rates.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
For shipments outside the United States, if you are ordering MORE THAN ONE item, please message me for a combined shipping quote. You will need to include the following information in your message to me:
