Back in 2007 I was on maternity leave after having our first baby. I suggested to my husband I would like to start a hobby in my free time and suggested knitting. I forgot about it and the next day he came home with a set of needles and a ball of baby pink yarn. I started that night and was hooked.

I love knitting toys the most and started to design my own and posting them to a free toy blog 'Knitted Toy Box' which was set up in April 2008. I created a few patterns to sell in my Etsy shop even if they were slightly miscellaneous.

I soon became obsessed with a style of toys called amigurumi, yet most of the patterns were crochet (which I cannot for the life of me pick up!). So combining my love of knitted toy animals and amigurumi style I released my first Jelly Bum pattern for a dog in September 2008 and continued to grow since.

I now have over 30 patterns in the range with a few dress up pattern thrown in to.

The best part of designing the toys is seeing what other people create from my patterns and the stories behind their creation.

Patterns will be sent as a PDF file via email within 48 hours of cleared payment.
