Thank you for supporting my micro-business! What do I mean by micro? I mean, super, duper small. It is just me. Just one person, Jennifer Griffin. And I offer a variety of magical, fairytale pieces. Everything from artwork, to costumes, to props, to photography prints. All of which bare my creativity, imagination and years of experience. A piece of my soul if you will.
When you purchase from my shop, you are purchasing from an actual individual. I hand make all of my pieces from my headdresses to my wall art. I do all my own photography. I have been creating art for over 30 years. Selling it as a business for over 20. This time I have spent cultivating my skill shows in every detail of my work. An example would be my potion bottles. They look as if they have been plucked out of the pages of a book, or right off of a movie set. They simply are not your average potion bottle props. This can be accounted for in my shop reviews. And the same care and attention to detail has been taken in everything I create.
I also have a second Etsy shop, www.GriffinHouseStore.etsy.com, where all of my bar and wine accessories are being sold. One of a kind sets of vintage jewelry wine tags, art glass decanters and more!
PLEASE READ ALL SHOP POLICIES BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE.
I work hard to repurpose, recycle and reuse as much as possible. Keeping as many times from the landfills as possible. Therefore, many of my pieces are one of a kind and cannot be duplicated. I also repurpose packing materials and boxes.
You will find in my items a bit of my favorite genres; steampunk, fairy fantasy, mermaid whimsy, Native American lore and an ancient Celtic distinction. All of which encompass who I am and are apart of me. If there is something specific you'd like to have, I would love to work with you to create your custom piece.
PLEASE, PLEASE read ALL shop policies before making a purchase. I am not responsible for misunderstandings about returns, refunds, shipping times, lost packages, and the like. All of these are outlined in my Shop Policies and Additional Info sections.

5 out of 5 starsThis is even more gorgeous in person! So cool looking with the hammered details, nice weight to it so it doesn't feel too cheap but not heavy to wear either! Especially when you compare to others, this one takes the cake! It looks just as good or better at a reasonable price you can afford! I am obsessed!!

5 out of 5 starsI really like that these potion bottles are bigger and taller. I have purchased 5 or more bottles. They are so detailed. I couldn't be happier with this shop I'm sure I'll be buying more in the future.

About Jennifer Griffin & Her Studio
My back ground is in interior design and I have always loved making things, using my hands. I use many different mediums to express myself, canvas painting, clay sculpting, sewing, paper crafting, mix media, photography. I love to tell stories through these mediums.
Years ago, after my first child was born I started designing hair accessories, costumes, fabric toys, bow ties and flat caps for my kids. That led into creating for other people and thus my Etsy shop opened. www.JenGriffinStudios.etsy.com
After a few years I started blending my love of vintage and antique finds with the items I was making. I moved from designing for children to designing for adults. Brides, costumers, cosplayers, festival goers. I now design not just for the children but for everyone, specializing in fairytale, tribal fusion and steampunk genera.
There are several sources that I look to for inspiration. Literature, nature, my Celtic roots as well as my Native American heritage, the ocean, to name a few. In more detail, I belong to the Delaware Indian tribe. My grandfather lived on an Indian reservation in Oklahoma. My American Indian heritage is on my fathers side and my Celtic heritage is on my mother's side. My great grandmother immigrated from Scotland and my great grandfather, whom my Scottish grandmother married, immigrated from Ireland. My ancestry and the cultures that I come from are important to me.
One of my favorite stories is Through the Looking Glass- and What Alice Found There and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Fantasy and whimsy found in these sources of inspiration have always influenced me. It shows in my work. Natural color palettes, Victorian fabrics and prints, and a hint of my Celtic and Native roots, myths and all, flavor my pieces, art, and photography. I pour a little bit of my heart, soul and history into everything I create.
You will notice there are more things in my shop besides hair accessories. I bounce back and forth between mediums and even use different mediums on the same piece. You will also notice that some of my pieces include my art photography. These images are mine and were captured by me. I do own the copyrights and they may not be used without my consent. I have a passion for photography, especially surreal and fantasy.
My business is small and albeit, obscure, but you can be assured you are getting a one of a kind, well made, loved art pieces and unique vintage finds, as well as excellent and unique fine art photography services.

I love all things old, vintage and antique. I also love to re-purpose items. There are just too many fabulously historiacal items, fabric, buttons, bits and bobs to not use again. But what I love best are my children. They are my inspiration.
