This is an odd time for us, so here are some announcements:

*** We are moving house at the end of March, June, and again in July, so please be aware there may be some delays in shipping during that time, even though I'll have all my in-stock pieces with me in my suitcase.

***As of March 14th, my lampworking equipment is packed away and any new lampwork pieces will be delayed until my studio is set up again in August.

***The meeple pieces can still be made in my studio in England in April, May and June. Hooray!

***The US Postal Service has just dramatically increased their international shipping charges to a minimum of $14 per shipment! I will continue to investigate a reasonable shipping fee with other carriers, but if you're NOT in the USA and you are thinking about Christmas presents, it might be wise to order by June 10th, while we are still in England.

***The postage fee has now been updated to reflect shipping costs from England.

*** Custom pieces have updated shipping fee as reflecting USA shipping costs. Shipping within the USA is still reasonable at a flat $4, but for international shipments, I haven't yet found any good alternative to USPS, so I've put in the $14 they're charging, I'm very sorry about that.

***If you're in the USA, you can order now, but shipping from the UK to USA is $6, whereas within the USA it is only $4, so if you're not in a hurry, you may wish to wait until after June 15th, as we'll be in Seattle and can ship at the lower cost to you =)

I love glass and have enjoyed working with it since 2002.

My design philosophy is inspired by Arts & Crafts era designer William Morris when he said "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." I hope you'll find your Jenefer Ham glass to be both beautiful and useful.

I get great satisfaction from making work the right way (some might say I'm a bit of a control freak that way...it must be done right!). My hope is that my pieces will become treasured, well-used, well-loved family heirlooms.

All my glass pieces are hand crafted by me and are immediately kiln annealed for durability, then cleaned, and are presented in a lovely velvet pouch.

I make every effort to show the glass colors as accurately as possible, but computer monitors are all different. If you're concerned about matching a color exactly, please email me and we can discuss if I can meet your needs. Otherwise, I think you'll find that my photos give a good indication of the colors, and I think you'll be very pleased with your glass. Photographing glass is challenging and my pieces are even prettier in person.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

I stand by my work wholeheartedly. If you are not totally happy with your purchase for any reason, notify me via Etsy within 24 HOURS of receiving your package and return your item in its original condition and packaging within 14 DAYS of receipt for a refund (minus the shipping fee) or credit toward another item(s) -- your choice.
Payment
I accept ETSY's Direct Pay, Paypal, and bank transfers for UK and International Customers. This allows the use of the major credit cards, a bank account or your Paypal balance.
Shipping
Shipping cost: there is a flat shipping charge, and ALL additional pieces sent in the same package ship for FREE! Yay!

From April to June 10, 2018 packages will be mailed from England. The cost has gone up a little from Malta's postal fee but packages include proof of mailing.

Starting mid-June, shipping will be from Seattle in the USA. International packages will automatically have Electronic USPS Delivery Confirmation.

All in-stock pieces will be posted within 2 working days, but usually I get it mailed the next day, as the beagles love to get a walk into town.

For shipping, I wrap the glass carefully in dense bubble-foam wrap, and then place it in its lovely velvet pouch. For the exterior mailing envelope I usually use a padded bubble envelope. Orders with multiple items may be mailed in a box.

I am sorry but once it's left my hands I have no control over delivery times. I take care to fill out the customs form properly to expedite the package's transit through Customs/Import.

I post to the address that you have registered with Etsy, so please take a moment and confirm that it is correct. Sadly, it takes months for an undelivered package to be returned to me...if it comes back at all.

All international orders are sent airmail and are usually delivered in about 7-10 working days.

UPDATE for DECEMBER DELIVERIES.
If you want your glass specifically in time for Christmas, I encourage you to order in the autumn for shipping no later than November 20th.
Additional policies and FAQs
Every care has been taken to ensure long life, but my pieces are made of glass, so common sense and care should be taken when handling them. You can clean them with a soft cloth and a bit of soap & water.

They are also relatively small items, so please use care if allowing children to view/hold/play with the pieces.

As far as I have experienced*, no customs duty is imposed on the import of lampworked glass. I always fill in the Customs Declaration form properly so Customs can easily process it and send it along to you as quickly as possible.

Having said all that, customs charge/import duty/VAT, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer.

*I've posted to the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, France, Portugal, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Switzerland with zero problem.
