About Us
Crecí en una casa donde mis padres también trabajaban creando muñecas coleccionables. Siempre ha sido un objetivo trabajar desde la comodidad de mi hogar creando cualquier tipo de arte. Me mudé a Florida y tuve la oportunidad de iniciar una tienda de Etsy y realmente concentrarme todo mi tiempo en la creación.
Con mi nuevo pasatiempo, Hula Hooping, encontré toda una comunidad de personas que también lo amaban. Luego descubrí rápidamente que era más que solo aprender trucos, era una forma de danza, una forma de expresión y meditación. Pero lo más importante es que descubrí que les encantaba cualquier arte inspirado en el aro. Fotografías, videos, pinturas, pegatinas, alfileres y más. Así que había encontrado la inspiración perfecta para mi tienda. Ahora hago diseños temáticos de hula hooper en cualquier cosa que pueda crear fuera de mi hogar. Expandiéndose a otras artes de flujo también.
Cuatro años más tarde, me diagnosticaron cáncer de mama. Comenzó el proceso para ser tratado y el huracán Irma golpeó. Quitando el techo de nuestro apartamento.
Aproveché esa oportunidad para regresar a casa para pasar por el tratamiento con mi familia en Pensilvania.
¡Terminado el tratamiento en abril de 2018! Tengo grandes esperanzas para mi negocio. Planeo desarrollar más mis habilidades y vender en persona. Mi objetivo es simplemente poder sobrevivir haciendo lo que amo y lo que me hace feliz.
I grew up in a house where my parents also worked creating collectible dolls. It has always been a goal to work from the comfort of my home creating any kind of art. I moved to Florida and had the opportunity to start up an Etsy shop and really focus all my time creating.
With my new found hobby, Hula Hooping, I found a whole community of people who loved it as well. Then I quickly discovered it was more than just learning tricks, it was a form of dance, a form of expression and meditation. But more importantly I found that they loved any art inspired by the hooping. Photographs, videos, paintings, stickers, pins and more. So I had found the perfect inspiration for my shop. Now I make hula hooper themed designs into anything I can create out of my home. Expanding to other flow arts as well.
Four years later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Started the process to be treated and hurricane Irma hit. Taking the roof off of our apartment.
I took that opportunity to move back home to go through treatment with my family in Pennsylvania.
Finished treatment in April 2018! I have high hopes for my business. I plan to develop my skills more and sell in person. My goal is simply to be able to survive doing what I love and what makes me happy.
