The chain is exactly what I requested. It arrived on time and looks great hanging from my carport.

Today I'm busy annealing and cutting copper pipe to make hammered bracelets and pendants.

About

I am a wife, mom and artist. I've been an artist pretty much all of my life. I decided to concentrate on jewelry a couple of years ago. I love working with items from nature....metal...metal...stones...whatever I find that inspires me. Each new skill I learn I incorporate into my work so it is always evolving.

This is my full time job and I love it! Each and every piece that I make receives my full attention and I love to get to know my customers and make them happy. My favorite metal to work with is copper. I love the warmness of the color, the beautiful patina it develops with time, and the way it behaves while working with it. I also work with sterling silver and there are certain stones and applications that lend themselves to silver more than copper. The stones I use are all natural unless specified otherwise. There are times I will use glass or synthetic stones, but that will be noted in the description.

Frequently asked questions

Will the copper turn my skin green?

Everybody reacts to copper differently. The copper can discolor your skin depending on your personal body chemistry, cosmetics, humidity, sweat, etc. Some people can wear it without any discoloration.

Custom and personalized orders

I accept custom and personalized orders. Payment is required in full at time of order. Order can take up to 2 weeks to ship, depending on workload and materials on hand. All custom and personalized orders are final. Please message me on Etsy with interest or questions.

Sizing details

You are responsible for ordering the size ring or length of necklace that you need. I strive to make them in the size that you order. I will only be held responsible if I do not succeed in doing that. Most rings that I make cannot be resized after I set the stones so please be sure of your size.

Care instructions

My jewelry is not coated and will eventually develop a patina. I personally love the patina that it develops so this is intentional. Copper will patina much quicker than silver. You can use a polishing cloth to keep your jewelry polished to your liking.

I do not suggest any other means of cleaning my jewelry and will not be responsible for damage if you do so. There are several methods on the internet for cleaning copper and silver and I do not recommend them, especially if the jewelry contains stones. Many stones can be damaged by chemicals or scratched by other methods.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Your jewelry will come in an attractive box decorated with my logo that is suitable for gift giving. If you need me to ship directly to a gift recipient, please let me know in comments when you place your order.

Will the finish on my jewelry be perfect?

I hand make each piece of jewelry. It starts as a sheet of metal, a piece or wire or a piece of pipe.

Being handmade adds a certain charm and character to the jewelry. You will see imperfections, tool marks and no two pieces are identical. Even when I make a piece like a sample, it will be slightly different. I don't even keep patterns of designs that I make, each one is hand drawn and fabricated.

This is what makes handcrafted artisan jewelry unique and special My pieces will have a timeless charm and will not look like they are mass produced by a machine. This is by choice, not by accident. Please don't confuse this with me being careless about fabrication. Each piece I make gets my full attention to detail.
