Working with Jenny was a pleasure. I ordered a print, which was promptly shipped. The print is absolutely gorgeous, and is a wonderful addition to the other items in my home. Unfortunately UPS damaged the shipment. Jenny was quick to send out a complimentary replacement in which arrived within a few days. I will gladly order from her in the future.

About

Art to enhance your interiors, original modern classics by Jenny Gray.

I am a multifaceted designer and artist, I make abstract oil paintings, prints, collage, assemblage, design and graphic art. Everything in my shop is designed and made by me, I use professional and archival processes and supplies. Most of my work tends to be of the modern esthetic with a warm and positive feel.

I make art because it is how I connect with the world, it is how I process concepts and ideas. Art is an important personal expression for me. I often abstract known subjects such as architecture, landscapes, machinery and graphic images — exploring ideas and emotions. When I paint and make abstract prints I often start with a sketch of something but the piece often becomes about ink or paint, freedom, line, composition and layers. Layers are very important to my work, I often paint or draw things I know will get covered later, I like the tension of knowing something is underneath but you can’t know it fully.

My Etsy shop has been a great way to connect with art lovers and people putting together a great looking room who need contemporary art as a focal point or just a small finishing touch. It's really fun to be able to see my work leave my little studio and get sent around the world.

My paintings have been collected by individuals and corporations nationally and internationally. My work has recently been featured on MADMEN (season 6 and 7) and in the WEST ELM catalog.

Thanks for checking out my shop and reading a bit about what I do.

They produce my prints that are over 13"x19" but I do check quality and make sure it meets my high standards.
