JerusalemTile's Shop Policies

Welcome

Thanks for checking out Jerusalem Tile . I have my own ceramic studio in my home right outside of Jerusalem. Because I live in Israel I am inspired by many interesting items that grow and/or are symbolic of the Middle East. Please feel free to contact me with questions you have about items in my shop.

Payment

I accept credit cards through PayPal. After purchasing an item, please remember to click through to PayPal to complete the purchase. You do not need a PayPal account in order to use a credit card. Simply select the option to pay without an account.

Shipping

I ship twice a week and will try to get your item out within the week. If you are in need of something quickly, please contact me before purchasing to arrange other shipping options. Most things will take at least two weeks to get to you.
I ship worldwide with Israel international postal service. Most of my orders are International, so I have done my best to to estimate shipping costs. The Israel Postal Authority is our only option for standard International First Class Airmail Registered Parcel Service. After shipping your order, I will send you the “tracking number” assigned in the Registry. You can then follow the item as it makes it’s way to your home or office. I can assure you that most of the time, your order leaves Israel within 1 - 3 business days from my notification. Unfortunately, I cannot stand behind your country’s processing policies. I have learned that some countries do not notify recipients that a registered parcel is awaiting them at their local post office. Please check with them if you feel a parcel has not arrived in an appropriate amount of time.
Again, if your item is in inventory, I will make every effort to ship it out within 2 - 3 business days. Shipping can take at least 7 - 14 days and often more.
Please double check your address and make sure all the information is correct. If your item is refused by your country, it can take an additional 6 weeks to be returned to me.
The buyer is always responsible for any import, customs or tariffs on international purchases.

All ready for shipment items are shipped within 3-5 days of payment, with the exception of weekend and holidays.
Customs order will be shipped up to 21 days from the order date because of the ceramic firing process.
Shipment from ISRAEL takes 14-21 day.
Express shipping is optional by request for additional fee .

Refunds and Exchanges

You must contact me within 7 days after receiving the item to request a return or refund. However, all these items are all handmade which is what makes them special and I try to describe them as best as I can. If for any reason you believe that the item you received was not as described, please let me know and we can try to work things out.

I make customer service a top priority. I will package your item with great care. f the item arrives damaged, I will replace the item or refund your money, as long as you send me a photo of the damaged item within 3 days of receipt of the item. International insurance is quite expensive. If you wish to discuss this option, please convo me.
If you are unhappy with an item, please convo me so we can work together to resolve the issue. I do my best to accurately describe and show photos of each item. I love the tiny variations that exist only in handmade goods which add to their beauty and value. Handmade items don’t look like pieces that are mass produced from molds. I love the rustic edges and glaze variations that happen only with handmade ceramics.

Additional Policies and FAQs

I welcome custom orders, and most of my items are “made to order.” I can change colors, sizes etc.
In most cases, if you want minor tweaks to a current listing I can do so at no extra charge. I cannot show you these changes as the item would have to be designed and processed before I could take a picture. If you are looking for something specific, then additional charges may apply. In any event, it would be a good idea to convo me with any questions about changes.
Messages received in “check out notes” upon purchase will NOT be applied to orders. Please convo me for any special requests.
Many of my creations can be ordered in any quantity desired. Please convo me with with questions. Although I often do these kind of orders, please keep in mind that I am one artist with a very small business. Each item is hand-made, so processing time may vary. Convo me for details.
Looking for a special design? I love to hear your ideas. Just send me a convo and I can set up a special listing especially for you. If you need an order by a specific date, please let me know and I will make an effort to meet the deadline, or let you know if I can’t do it. Keep in mind holidays, as processing may be more time consuming at these times.
