Every product that is available at Jess Designed has been thoughtfully designed and delicately made using handmade processes unique to Jess.

Products first start as an idea then they go through a trial and error process before they are ready to be sold to you. The trial and error process involves experimenting with materials, playing with techniques, and overall learning what works and what doesn't. This process can take an indefinite amount of time as each product is unique and materials vary between each product. Once Jess has decided that she likes the look of the product and feels that it's at a point where she can feel confident that it will hold up to use she starts putting it through a series of real-life situations to test whether her products are durable enough for another person. This process typically takes a month as she wears, uses, and tests different situations that her products may face. During this time period she will wear these products regularly - this is what determines whether these products are viable for the marketplace or not. If they don't pass the test they go back to the trial and error phase, but if they do pass then they go into the phase where they are ready to be sold. At this point, Jess makes a batch of the product along with all of the available colors and choice of materials which are then photographed and listed for sale. As products sell, Jess packages each item in packaging that's suitable for gift giving. Then they are sent out to be joyfully greeted by their new owner.

The items available in my store are brand new, never worn products and Jess owns a set of each and everything available for her to wear and use as well (so now you have an idea of what Jess' wardrobe and accessories looks like). Products have been handmade using quality materials and techniques unique to Jess Designed.
