Hoops Shouldn't Be "One Size Fits All"
I have been making adult-sized hula hoops since 2008, when I first discovered hoop dance. But in March of 2017, I closed my Etsy shop due to struggling to find a balance between hoop making and work, and trying and failing to keep up with hoop trends.
After a year out of business, I've decided to reopen my doors.
As an advocate for larger hoops, I frequently receive messages from adults and larger women frustrated with the sizing advice they've received, and the hoops they can't waist hoop in due to how small they are. It's important to me that people have an easy way to find a hoop that fits them, since bigger hoops are hard to find on Etsy.
There is no shame in learning on a hoop that is the right size for your body. You wouldn't go into a gym and try to lift 50 pound weights on your first day - why torture yourself learning to waist hoop on a 30" polypro?
In this shop, you won't find any polypro or HDPE. You won't find any hoops smaller than 34" in diameter. You won't find any hoops for kids. There are plenty of other shops out there that offer these services.
My #1 priority is offering the best beginner and plus size hooping tools out there, so that anyone who wants to can learn how to waist hoop.
