Announcement
Over the past couple of years, prices on supplies, shipping and inventory have gone up especially recently. In order for me to continue to create my unique designs, I have to raise my prices. You will see a slight increase on my items. I will continue to offer free shipping. Thank you for your understanding.
THANK YOU for your support over the years. Each year gets better and its because of you. Your favorites, your purchases and your reviews keep me going.
Welcome to my Shop! I hope my designs can inspire and bring happiness to you or someone you love. My jewelry collection is inspired by abstract, organic designs that are bold and unique. I currently have a love affair with wire crochet so many of my designs are inspired by this free form aesthetic.
I also love beads, stones, shells and wood so sometimes the wire crochet is the star of the design and other times it is the collection of stones and other components that make the piece shine. As you can see in my designs, I have incorporated polymer clay. It is a fun, versatile medium that I am enjoying exploring.
Making jewelry is my first love and that love is conveyed through my designs. I create pieces that speak to the unique beauty we all possess. I also feel that jewelry can be worn to lift us up when we are broken, donned as armor to face the day and a beacon to show the world who we are.
In addition to jewelry, I love fluid art and I am inspired by the beautiful unique creations that are borne from mixing paints. So you will see jewelry pieces along with abstract art and home decor in my shop as well.

5 out of 5 starsLove this face mask holder. I wear a lot of black and it blends in very well. It's so nice I may wear it as a necklace. True to the photo.

About JessicaDesignsJewels
Almost by accident, Jessica Dickens found her talent for creating beautiful jewelry!
About the Artist Jessica Dickens
In 2000, Jessica fixed a beloved beaded necklace with small beads and fishing wire. Soon after she discovered a local bead shop and learned how to make a necklace properly and from there spent a lot of time and money creating pieces and an artist was born.
Being the daughter of a mother who paints, knits, crochets and even writes calligraphy, Jessica believed the creative gene skipped her. As a child, she excelled at stick figures, hearts and butterflies. Although she graduated from college with a B.A. in English she never really found her calling. When she discovered jewelry making she discovered the artist that she was meant to be. Almost by accident, jewelry making gave her a creative outlet to express herself and she found something that she loved to do.
After giving away her first creations and eventually selling her designs to co-workers and friends, she focused on making her hobby that she loved into a business so that she can share her love of Jewelry with others and live self-sufficiently from what she loved to do. Over a short period of time and with lots of encouragement, she started Jessica Designs in 2002.
In speaking specifically about her jewelry, "I create jewelry by marrying colors and textures that seem an unlikely pair to create eclectic designs that captures attention. I'd like to think my jewelry speaks to the unique beauty we all possess. Each piece becomes an extension of the person wearing one of my designs. I don't really follow trends, I let each piece design itself that keeps my creativity and unique designs flowing. Another facet of my business that I love is working collaboratively with my clients to create custom pieces for weddings, formal events, to match an outfit or just because. Jewelry can bring people joy and make them feel beautiful I have seen it and that is what I hope to continue to do thru my jewelry...bring people beauty and joy!”

Shop policies
Each piece features an assortment of semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski© crystals and other eye-catching components like shells and wood. As far as components, I only use sterling silver, Bali silver, gold-filled, copper and brass. For pieces that are crocheted I use fine silver, copper and non tarnishing copper coated wire.
The jewelry designed becomes an extension of the person wearing one of my creations. I don't really follow trends, I let each piece design itself. This is what keeps my creativity flowing. On my creative journey, I have met many wonderful individuals and participated in many great events from fund-raisers to fashion shows to small gatherings and it is a humbling experience to have my creations appreciated and sought after. I always try to challenge and expand myself by learning new techniques and keeping my designs fresh and innovative.
