Showstopping knit and crochet patterns of all levels.
I am an artist, a mother, a wife, and a wonder woman who lives with and fights against depression and anxiety. I live to love and support my family and friends. My passion is helping and lifting up others.
As Jessie At Home, I help aspiring yarn artists & crafters create showstopping knit & crochet projects with ease. I do this through my blog: JessieAtHome.com, and through my membership: ShowstopperCreations.com.
I’ve earned a BFA in Costume Design and an MA in Studio Art/Painting & Sculpture. I started my career as a costume designer, which was tons of fun. I met some really awesome people, got to see my costumes on TV and on Broadway, and even spent several years running the costume shop (and sometimes the whole costume department) for Adelphi University.
I left theatre to marry a boy in NJ in2005, and we became parents of twins in 2007. Shortly thereafter I started JessieAtHome.com as a way to share about the kiddos. It grew and changed and sometime around 2013 I embraced it as my business.
I constantly strive to be anti-racist, I stand up for those who need it, I do my best to use my privalidged as a straight, cis-gender, white woman to help those with less privalidged, and I am an ally to queer folx everywhere, especially my amazing queer kiddos.
I love the life I have built for myself. It’s not always easy, it is always mine, and I work hard for it. Even with all the struggles, life is good.
