About

Greetings and welcome to my world.

I am a self-representing lampwork glass artist (SRA). I love to create unique handmade lampwork glass beads. I thoroughly enjoy the entire process, from the designing to torching, to seeing the finished product and offering my joy to you here on Etsy. Thank you for your continued support! Bead appétit!

The art of creating glass beads and sculpture has been my passion and part of my daily life since 1976. Here is the rest of my story...I once worked for a local fine lampwork glass company for 28 years. We worked solely with borosilicate clear glass rods on a very very hot torch, and a very large kiln for making larger novelty glass items. I loved my job so much, but like all good things that come to an end, the company took a turn in a different direction. I just couldn't imagine life without lampwork glass art; which is what has lead me to Etsy and to you! I went on to set up my own lampwork glass art workshop from right here in my home. My torch and kiln are both smaller than before, and I now work mostly with colored soda-lime glass cane, to create beads and sculpture on a smaller level, for use in jewelry or other detailed projects. All of my beads are properly kiln annealed and hand cleaned for your beading pleasure. I take great pride in my lampworking and customer service is highly important to me. I am happy to help you with any questions you may have regarding my work. Thank you for your interest.

Sincerely,
Jettonne SRA
