Announcement   Handmade, seed bead bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings.
Jewellery By Jora brings you bright, bold, individual pieces that offer every woman & every girl the chance to create and follow her own style.

Bold doesn’t necessarily mean big, or flash. I want it to mean something that makes a statement about *you*, whether that be that you’re larger than life or that you like to keep things streamline and minimalist. A flash of colour from a bracelet is often all it takes to make that statement; whether you’re a fun loving, beach-babe wannabe, a corporate giant in a power suit or, like most of us, a little bit of both!

Each piece in our shop is handcrafted one tiny bead at a time using a needle and thread in a technique called beadweaving. Taking between 2 hours for the simplest earrings, to over 10 hours for a cellini spiral bracelet - each piece is truly a labour of love! By carefully selecting only the highest quality glass beads, you can be assured that the latest addition to your beaded jewelry collection will be treasured for years to come.

For girlies who love sunshine & smiles! You only have one life - live it in seed beads!

About

A Trip To Tobago

It all started with a trip to Tobago. A tiny Caribbean island with white sandy beaches, palm trees, sweet steel pan rhythms & parrots flying overhead. I met my partner & that's how the story began!

In order to spend more time together I had to give up my day job, and I took up beadweaving to pass the time. Little did I know that it would turn into my new day job!

I started off small, with a kit to make daisy chain bracelets that my sister no longer wanted. After I exhausted the supplies I had, my Mum bought me a beginner's beadweaving book and some pretty beads so I could try out some more stitches. The more I stitched with these tiny, glass beads, the more I wanted to stitch! Fast forward 15 months and here I am. I can't tell you how many tubes, bags and boxes of beads I have as I don't even know myself.

Needless to say I've found a job that doesn't feel like a job. Everyday I wake up wanting to create pretty things for you to admire. I have so much love for what I do - Jewellery By Jora can only move onwards and upwards!

I happily accept Paypal from all buyers. I also accept personal cheques and postal orders from UK buyers only - please contact me if you wish to pay via these methods.

Please understand that if you've made a payment via personal cheque then I will post your item out to you after the cheque has cleared. This is likely to take a fair few days so if you're eager to get your hands on your lovely new jewellery then please use Paypal.
Shipping
I aim to post your jewellery out within 24 hours of receiving payment. Please allow for extra time over weekends & holidays though as the Post Offices here will be closed.

I post jewellery internationally almost every day - please rest assured that your items will arrive in perfect condition, ready to wear!

Please note that international buyers are responsible for any duties and customs charges that may be incurred.

I send all UK purchases via second class mail and international orders are sent via Airmail. Neither of these services are tracked but are very reliable.

I really hope that you will love the jewellery that you receive!

I will happily accept items for a refund or exchange within 21 days of purchase.

** Custom orders are not returnable or refundable due to the nature of the order. **

All other items may be returned in their original, unworn condition, within 21 days of purchase, should they prove unsuitable. Please contact me prior to posting. An exchange or refund of the item price, minus P+P costs (and customs charges where applicable), will be made once the jewellery is received by me.
Additional policies and FAQs
-Gift wrapping is available at an additional cost of £2+, dependant on the size of the item. This service includes outer-wrapping so your order is ready to give as a gift upon receipt. Please specify at the checkout if you have any particular gift-wrapping requirements!

-Please be aware that I recycle external packaging when the option is available to me. If you don't share my green values (or if you'd just like to set them aside temporarily) please specifically request shiny new packaging and I'll happily comply.

-Before work on custom orders can commence, payment is required in full for items totalling £50 or less. For items totalling £50.01 or more, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be required with the balance being paid upon completion.

-I offer an alteration service should you find that your favourite piece of 'Jewellery By Jora' no longer fits correctly. Please enquire on Etsy or via e-mail.

-Please note that it is sometimes not possible to alter a piece of jewellery. Beadwoven pieces in particular do not lend themselves well to alteration once complete.
