Calmness Through The Storm

In 2006 a friend signed up for a jewelry making class. She kept asking me to join and go with her, but I resisted. On the first day of the class, I finally relented and there was still one opening. I found the first class interesting, but by the second class I was hooked! I loved the Zen type feeling I got when I was creating. It is as if nothing else exists's but the project I am working on.

I began wearing my work out and coming home with none. People were buying my jewelry off of me while I was wearing it! So, I decided to begin selling locally and online.
My favorite aspect is designing. And I strive for high quality construction of all of my pieces. I inspect my items upon finishing them, and again prior to shipping. Everything must be perfect, and high quality!

I went through a "ribbon phase" for a while, and that will likely reoccur. I also do polymer clay art sometimes. You just never know what medium I will be working in next!

Due to my disability, I can not work outside the home. Jewelry has given me both solace and purpose. it's a wonderful feeling for me when someone makes a purchase from me. It's the highest compliment I could possibly be given, and am so excited every single time an item is chosen by someone.
