I retired from MCG in 2000 and soon after that I began doing beadwork. My niece taught me to make a simple bracelet, and that began my love of working with beads. After mastering the art of stringing beads, I became interested in bead weaving so with the help of beading magazines and YouTube, I have learned a lot about the art. I work in my beading room about 4 hours a day, this is my “happy place”. I love beading and love displaying and selling my work. I love seeing the reaction of customers when they see my earrings made with tiny seed beads.
