I am generally pleased with its appearance. I am very disappointed in the materials. I was under the impression that the bracelet was made of glass. The bracelet only has small glass beads on the back the main stones are plastic. The shipping was timely. I have decided to keep it because it has the design I was looking for. I will ask more questions about the product before I buy from now on. The customer service from this vendor was excellent and I was very happy with the setting.

About

The Birth of Jewelry by Ishi

Welcome to JewelrybyIshi, on Etsy. In this shop, you will find unique Artisan jewelry, created by me, and collectible Vintage Costume jewelry. I started beading in 2010, as a desire to add some simple stone jewelry to my art gallery, Ishi Gallery, here on Etsy. Designing and beading soon became of intense interest and fun for me. My jewelry creations increased to the point that they began to compete with the gallery space, so, I decided to open this shop. As my interest in jewelry expanded, I became interested in name brand Vintage Costume Jewelry, and I started collecting it, to add to my shop inventory. It is fun, and challenging, to search for matching pieces to arrange into Parures and Demi Parures.

Designing and beading my own creations leads to the never ending pursuit of searching for unique and beautiful pendants and beads. I have a particular interest in Vintage Chinese cloisonne pendants and beads, which I use in much of my jewelry. I love to bead them with semi-precious stones, coral, abalone, and other shells, as well as, freshwater pearls, and metal spacer beads. Other pendants range from semi-precious stone carvings, Dichroic Glass, Mother of Pearl, Abalone and other shells, and Wood carvings.

Because I like to make my jewelry with a variety of ornate and patterned metallic spacer beads, in various sizes, most of my jewelry is made with silver plated, gold plated, and copper plated metal beads and findings. I add Everbrite ProtectaCoat, to the metal beads, for stability to preserve the metal plating and to retain the metallic finish with a long lasting shine. Some of my jewelry is made with Sterling Silver, Silver Filled, Pewter, Gold Filled, Gold Vermeil, Brass, and Copper beads and findings. I do not use Nickel, from the best of my knowledge. Lately, after I learned just how substantial acrylic beads are (to test them I beat them with a hammer! They would not dent, crack, peel or loose their beautiful finishes, to my amazement!). Acrylic beads are, also, light weight which is an advantage, making my necklace comfortable to wear.

I stand behind my work. If you have a problem with any of my jewelry items, just let me know, and I will work with you to make it right.

You can enter my shop and see my creations, by clicking on this link: http://www.jewelrybyishi.etsy.com

I, also, invite you to visit my other two Etsy shops. IshiGallery is where you will see the unique images of my Limited Edition Photographs and derivatives that have been created from them.

Click on the photographs and you will be taken to the pages where you can see the different products that can made from them, such as art prints, throw pillows, shower curtains, and more.
