Absolutely gorgeous choker, love it.
A bit about how it all started
I have always loved creating and I have always loved beautiful things. Drawing, painting, sculpting, knitting, crocheting, sewing - I've taught my self all of these. It was a natural progression which finally lead me to making jewellery.
About ten years ago when my daughter was in high school, she couldn't decide what she wanted to be when she grew up. She asked me if I had known what I wanted to be back when I was in high school. I thought about that for only a split second and answered "Honey I still don't know what I want to be". While I have always been happiest creating, well, somehow life happened and instead of creating I was working in an office environment.
I don't remember exactly what prompted me to make my first pair of earrings shortly after that conversation but I did. From a pair of earrings I went to making bracelets. I read everything I could find on how to make jewellery. I watched endless tutorials, bought how to books and tried the techniques over and over until I perfected them. When people started asking me where I got the jewellery I was wearing, I decided maybe I should look into starting a business.
And so Jewelshart was born. I went back to reading everything - this time on opening and running a small business online. In 2011 I opened my Etsy shop but I didn't really list many items until the end of 2012. With a full time office job and my family life, my small business has been a slow process as I try to juggle all of these at once.
I love making jewellery. Jewellery - which can be so simple or so complex. There are so many materials to play with. So many techniques to stay challenged. I love the fact that there is always something new to learn whether in creating one of my pieces or some other aspect of running a jewellery business. I love buying stones, beads and supplies so that I can get started on a new design. I love creating big bold unique statement pieces as well as simple dainty creations. I love making chokers whether heavily detailed with beads or fabric with a Victorian feel. And I absolutely love the feeling of getting a sale and knowing that out of all the jewellery out there on the internet my creation was chosen! Such a great feeling:)
I have finally found my passion. I now know what I want to be. And thanks to hard work and my wonderful customers I am realizing my dream.

Additional policies and FAQs
All my pieces are designed to sustain normal light wear. Any individual links are generally not soldered so they will not sustain unreasonable force.
Slight color and size differences can occur between batches of beads. Sizes are approximate. Every effort has been made to ensure descriptions are correct, product descriptions such as 'gold', 'silver', 'copper', etc are subjective colour descriptions and do not relate to the materials. Sterling Silver items will be clearly stated as such.
Please be aware that beads may discolor over time. Silver by its very nature will tarnish over a period of time due to exposure of salts on the skin, soap, perfume, deodorants, air pollutants.
Some gemstones I use are porous. The use of certain cleaning products, salts on the skin, soap, perfume, body lotions or deodorants can therefore spoil their appearance if exposed to these elements.
Jewelry should always be stored out of direct sunlight and not immersed in water.
Jewelshart handmade jewelry is designed for adults, in size and in structure. As my pieces contain small parts they are not designed for children to play with. These small parts can present a choking hazard to young children.
Magnetic clasps are a great way to easily secure bracelets. Some of my jewellery pieces have magnetic clasps for the convenience and clean line. However, those who have pacemakers should not wear any magnetic catches or beads.
