What a unique and fabulous creation! Love it! It is such a great, well made design, with just the right colors to fit perfectly into my lake décor. Service was first rate! Could not be more pleased!

About

The Art of Letting Go ...

Somewhere along the line (later instead of sooner) I learned that art is about letting go~
* Letting go of any notion that you can control your creativity;
* Letting go of any belief that your actions will result in consistent results;
* Letting go of any preconceived ideas of how what you have in your head will look after it's filtered through your hands;
* Letting go of a finished piece so it can find a new and loving home.

I guess what I'm saying is that creating art is much like raising children--but that's another story.

I have worked in many media, but was never satisfied until I learned to let go. My mother's admonitions to "color within the lines" gave way to a comprehension that I must make my own lines...and not be frustrated when they don't go the way I intended.

I love creating--it is the closest thing there is to freedom on this earth. I really enjoy those moments when someone says "wow!" and they're talking about my work. I am in awe of those who relate to it so well that they must take it home and make it their own. That's what happens, you know. When my art becomes yours, it takes on the shape of your environment, your style, your life. I trust you'll give it a good home.

Shipping
All of my pieces are ready to ship once payment is received unless they are specifically listed as custom made-to-order pieces.

I ship by USPS and UPS, taking cost, convenience, the art's protection, and other factors under consideration. I ship twice each week. If you need something within less than a week, please convo me with your needs, and I'll do my best to accommodate. If your requests (overnight shipping, for example) result in actual costs above my standard shipping charges, I will bill you for the difference.
Refunds and Exchanges
I am proud of the quality of my work. I have collectors throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe! However, if for any reason you need to return a piece for refund or exchange, I must receive it within 7 days following my shipment of the piece. This close turn-around time is essential so that I can make the piece available to other buyers. Returned items must be received in unused, undamaged, resaleable condition. Under these conditions, I will give a full refund of the purchase price only; shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Made-to-order pieces are refundable ONLY if they are not customer-specific; such returns fall under the general prescription outlined in the preceding paragraph. A custom order of a shoe mosaic, for example, is probably refundable unless it has wording or other items that make it specific to the buyer and not saleable to another customer. (I reserve the right to make that decision.) An example of a piece that would not be refundable would be a made-to-order photo mosaic with a picture that is meaningful to you but not to other buyers. (Again, I make this call.)
Additional policies and FAQs
I LOVE custom orders and do much of my business making artwork to order. Ocassionally I must refuse or adapt a custom order request due to various limitations (availablility of materials, for example). I do not duplicate any piece of artwork or jewelry because I want each piece to be an original.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you, and I will make every effort to fulfill your wishes if it is possible for me to do so. I want your input regarding colors and design, but reserve the right to make final decisions--I am, after all, the artist!

Take care--and make each day a celebration!!
