Handmade Crafts and Fun Fashion

Welcome to Muck Rabbit Studios. This brand showcases the combined knowledge of my various interests, with 100% of my devotion. It is an exploration of mastering forgotten mediums and pursuing projects I would have once dismissed. This is a hodgepodge of artistic items created with skill and thoughtfulness. Ive slowed down to create art for art's sake.

Muck dyeing is a technique used in creating unique patterns on fabric with dye and ice. Its ugly and uncertain and the results are transformative. While I don't always dye "in the muck", I find it a metaphor for this time in our world, our nation's history, my career and the industries currently struggling. The rabbit references the rabbit hole of ideas I have, or the rabbit hole of emotions felt while I'm making this stuff... and rabbits are whimsical.

As a temporarily displaced theatrical costume technician I have decided to do what I've always feared- Start my own business! I have a strong desire to create and can't wait to share my art with you!

Cheers to the muck! May we all make it through to the other side.
