Announcement   Thank you for stopping by my shop. I love painting from your photos. I paint to relieve stress. Painting helps me to slow down and appreciate Gods' beauty.

I take pride in my work, and your satisfaction is ALWAYS guaranteed.

Working with my hands is the way I relax. Without my art, I know I would worry about my kids and aging mother more than I should. I have been painting and creating things all my life, and I love learning new techniques.

Ask me about my fee to visit your group for a painting workshop. I have a technique I have developed over 30 years of painting that I would LOVE to share with you and your group. I presently live in GA, near Atlanta, but will travel to share a workshop. Send me a conversation if interested. I have my masters in education, and have offered thousands of workshops over the years.

I am proud to say that my studios have been featured in the magazine, cloth.paper.scissors (Studios, Magazine, Summer, 2012).

With the help of God, I was able to go to college and graduate school, and taught art for many years before deciding to just PAINT and CREATE art. I really want to help YOU design the perfect painting for your family or friend for YOUR home OR as a gift, or I would love to hold a workshop.

Ask me about discounts for multiple paintings. Just send me a conversation right here on etsy and upload a photo that you like.

Jill did an AMAZING job capturing a beloved photo of ours in watercolor. It was a superb gift to a loved one, and will be cherished on our wall forever. She is so talented. Truly.

Not only is Jilly super talented but she is a pleasure to work with. I wasn't the easiest client to work with but she was super patient with me and it was clear to me that all she cared about is the quality of her work and making sure I was satisfied. If I could have given her 6 stars, I would have!

About

Love, Love, love to make things

I was a curious child who loved to make things by hand. My grandmother taught me to sew, and my grandfather taught me to work with wood. When I was selling advertising at News Sun Publishing Company in Atlanta in my 20's, I signed up with one of my advertisers in their art school in Atlanta, and took my first art lesson in graphic design. Computers were not big then, so we did everything by hand. LOVED it. I really loved the watercolor class I got to take, and so pursued watercolor instead of graphic design.

To me, watercolor is the perfect medium. It is fluid and makes marks that you can't get with oil or acrylic. I have been painting in all mediums for 30 years, but prefer watercolor and acrylic. I like to combine them with pastels for mixed media.

I have also taken jewelry making, ceramics, you name it! I am always interested in learning new techniques and experimenting.

Thank you for stopping by my shop. I hope to help you!
