Welcome to Handbuilt Pottery by Jim Irvine. My work is handbuilt of Stoneware clay. All of my work is one of a kind so no two pieces will look alike. I make both functional and decorative pieces. My work is fired primarily in three ways; electric fired to cone 6, Raku fired or Primitive fired. I also fire in a wood kiln or salt kiln when the opportunity arises, so a few of these pieces may show up in my shop as well. I hope you enjoy my work and feel free to contact me should you have any questions or comments. Thank you, Jim

Additional policies and FAQs
My stoneware work is dishwasher and microwave safe, although it is NOT oven safe. My Raku work and primitive fired work will NOT hold water and is intended for decorative purposes only.

I do not do custom work as I find it too stressful trying to create the image you have in your mind, therefore, I prefer to stick to the images in my own mind.
