Hello! My name is Jannet. I love to create and sew bags. As a little girl I used to watch the women in my family create beautiful things with their hands. I knew I had an artistic passion hidden inside of me, but it wasn’t until I walked into the beautiful fabric shop in Philadelphia a few years ago when I figured it out – sewing bags! I fell in love with the beautiful fabrics in the store and had to start mixing and matching different fabric designs together to make a unique bags.
I started giving my bags as gifts to family and friends and then they started ordering my first few designs for their family and friends. What started as a hobby has now turned into my very own business. So if you are someone who or knows someone who loves fun, colorful, unique wearables then check out a JingGirl created bag and accessory and own something that is different from the rest.
What is JingGirl? Everybody in the Philippines has a nickname. Mine is Jing. I hated the name growing up. I thought it was embarrassing, but now I love it. I love it so much that I decided to name my business JingGirl. Funny how you look at things differently when you grow up. So many of my friends now call me Jing. You’ll notice a nickname theme. Many of my designs are named after my client’s nics.
