These pants look and fit great on my husband. They are a bit sheer so if there are other people around, you'll need something on under them but they are quite sexy without. The material is soft and airy. Shipped very quickly. Thank you!

About

A Long Hard Road Out of

As a young girl, Jinxy first considered fashion design as a career choice after picking up a runway magazine at a gas station on the way back from a high school trip. It was very much unlike any of the other fashion magazines she was used to seeing. This one appeared to be more on emphasis in fashion. The thought of it was exciting and cool and then she looked up as we drove near our hood in North Houston, reality quickly ensued. Would I be able to afford college? she thought. As a homeless teen, she took a job at 14 to help pay for school lunches, bus fare and other basic necessities, so even the thought of going to college, seemed far fetched. However, there was something about fashion that was a driving force. Fashion became a way to escape from her reality. She remained persistent in masking her poverty by altering her thrift store finds into works of fashion art. Her friends would compare her A-line dresses to Calvin Klein and was also known for wearing Asian kimonos with vintage platform wedges. This kept her inspired in both her aspirations in life and emotionally.

Unfortunately, this was not something she could pursue quite easily. Jinxy got married at 16 and became pregnant shortly after that. College dreams were much more priority, but now with an emphasis on something that would help provide for her growing family. After an abusive marriage, more children and single motherhood, Jinxy became a paralegal for 10 years to help support her children. In just three years out of school, she was making up to $45,000 a year. It wasnt until when she worked for an IP (Intellectual Properties) department as a Project Manager, when she began to feel burned out. Jinxys life turned into 14 hour days of legal work, greedy or cheap clients and being middle management to people who were older. Jinxy tried to find hobbies in her spare to time to help her disconnect from her discontent with her career she worked hard obtaining. Jinxy tried roller derby and quickly learned that broken bones were not only not financially a good idea, but as a mother they were a detriment.

Jinxy was in charge of putting together a fashion show using the girls from TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls. Two weeks before the show, the designer dropped with not so much as a reason why. This was pretty stressful. Jinxy made ten outfits in two weeks. They were a hit and sold two of the outfits. This was the first she felt like a real designer and was blissful about it.
So the question Jinxy asked herself, if I had a million dollars in the back, would I continue being in the legal field or would I start my own clothing line. So Jinxy started her own clothing line. At first it was a bunch of craft shows of people who wanted to buy my stuff at garage sale prices or not at all. Jinxy couldnt afford fabric and sewed my clothes on a Janome Hello Kitty sewing machine.

My love for creating and making clothing has stemmed from my youth. I started sewing when I was 12 after I despised the fashions of my time. I use that in my inspiration and my juxtaposition of the old and new together.
