Announcement Handmade sterling silver and mixed metals, made with my two hands, a torch, a few tools, and usually a big smile, as I truly love what I do! Please excuse the smallness of my current shop, as I am also a busy real estate agent and am hoping to get back to my creating new items again soon!

I love this piece because of the contemporary look and it looks great in any style. Thanks JoDene...I will be purchasing in the future from you. You are an amazing artist.

This is absolutely a beautiful piece! It came packaged in a decorative jewelry box and when I opened it there was a small shell on top....so sweet! Thank you very much Jodene and I hope your family is well and healthy.

I absolutely LOVE this necklace. I had worried it might be awkward to wear but the links lie flat and it's light enough that I sometimes forget I have it on. I got the 20" chain and it hits me nicely on the collar bone. I also opted for the polished finish which I love. It came in a hand-decorated box and with a sweet thank you gift. So pleased with this! I may end up getting a slightly longer chain, too; I think they'd look awesome together.

20 yrs ago, with the support of my handsome hubby, I quit my full time "real" job to stay home with our curly haired, now taller-than-me boy and 4 years later added a feisty, curly haired girl. I was always an artist and started doing murals and hand painted furniture to help out while I was home with them by just adding a play pen in the mix! Then 4 years ago, I decided to expand my creative opportunities and take a "forging metals" class. I chose the class I did because the teacher's motto was to "bring your creativity and have fun". My teachers name was Ed Brickman, a very accomplished jewelry artist, and his comment about me was that I was his "most enthusiastic student!" I do always try hard to make the best of each opportunity and never-the-less, I was completely hooked! My journey into jewelry has evolved on it's own since then and I now have a lovely little studio space in our house overlooking our backyard and the water.
Since our children are now teenagers we truly enjoy to hang out with, I wouldn't change a thing about choosing to be home working while they grew. I have since gone back to a "real" job selling real estate on the beautiful island I am lucky enough to call home, but I always look forward to my time in the studio.
I strive to build beautiful, original pieces and always try to give great customer service and I hope that you will enjoy my creations and see the happiness poured into each piece.
I thank you so much for taking time out of your day to read a little bit about me and my journey.....
Now go shop, would you please?!! : )
