Windy and rainy here upcountry maui as we wait for hurricane Lane. Farther up the mtn lots of trees down and power out. on the west side there are fires from down power lines. We still have power so far. It only went out for 20 min last night.
Had to replace the oxygen regulator on my torch..but I am up and running again! Stay tuned for more soldered jewelry grin

Aloha! My name is Jamee and I create beachy boho Hawaii inspired jewelry here on Maui. My focus is to provide easy to wear super cute natural style jewelry for you to mix and match with your own jewelry. Hand crafted pieces with tokens of your love for the ocean but with a bohemian twist. My jewelry is the perfect accessory for the fashionable free spirited woman who loves summer, adventure and appreciates the simple things in life.

Lots of love and attention go into each piece. I strive to pick out and use only the best jewelry components and techniques that all my years of jewelry making have taught me. My customers mean the WORLD to me, and I strive very hard to be there for each and every one with amazing communication and customer service. I've been selling online since 2003 (started at rubylane.com) but working with jewelry since I was 10 years old when an auntie gave me her box of beads and taught me how to make necklaces. For my crocheted jewelry I am so thankful to my grandmother who's lap I sat in and held her hands while crocheting. By the time I was 5 I was crocheting potholders as gifts ;-)

Being from Maui since 1992, I am super inspired by the easy relaxed feel of Island life and it has played a huge part in what Jonara Blu Maui has become today.

Returns and exchange details
If you are not pleased with your purchase simply contact me within 3 days so we can make arrangements for a return. Buyer pays for return shipping unless agreed upon otherwise. The item must be returned via the original carrier, in its original packaging, and must be received in the same condition as when it was shipped to you with the shop's tags and identifying marks intact. I will request that you send me the tracking number as well. Once item is received I will issue a full refund. No restocking fee is charged.

No returns on customer designed jewelry unless there is a defect or I feel it is something that would sell in my shop.

Everything comes in a cute gift ready jewelry box with my logo on the top and tied with raffia.

Please convo me if you would like to add insurance and wait until you hear from me to pay. I will make your item into a reserved listing for you with any added shipping insurance costs.

We are not responsible for packages lost by the post office. We are not responsible for packages stolen from your mailbox or left by your door so please ensure that your package will be delivered to a secure location.

All items are shipped out within 2 business days. We are located in Hawaii, so while first class mail usually takes 3 days, it can take longer...up to 10 days. It is rare but plan for delays more around busy shipping seasons.

Frequently asked questions
Can I wear this to the beach?

Of course jewelry stays new looking longer if you don't often expose it to certain elements that can wear on it..however many pieces in my shop are beach/water friendly. This is especially so with many of my wrap bracelets. Some may have certain components on them that might not stand up as well over time such as an electroplated piece or dyed bone or wood. I would not suggest any be worn in swimming pools because of the chlorine. If you do happen to wear your jewelry in a pool you should rinse it off when you get home and hang it up to dry. If you have any specific questions feel free to contact me :)

My crocheted necklace seems to be twisting

This can happen especially if you store it coiled up. All you need to do is before you put it on start from the middle and make sure the stitching is on top as you straighten it out before you put it on. If it still is giving you trouble..you may very lightly and very carefully iron it. Make sure you untwist it before ironing. Make sure you use a barrier between the iron and the jewelry piece, I used a doubled pillow case. Don't press down hard, be light handed with it. Also use an old pillow case you don't mind getting stained as sometimes the steam from the iron can cause dye in certain beads to come off.

I don't understand the snug sizing on these wrap bracelets, I like my bracelets to be loose

Wearing crocheted wrap bracelets loose will end up irritating you. When it's too loose, one of the strands or wraps will end up being looser then the others. The other strands will tighten up and you will have that one hanging low and looking funky. I once had a customer who returned many times for me to custom create her different wrap bracelets and she was adamant about not liking anything snug on her wrist. She wanted to wear her wrap bracelets like a regular dangly loose bracelet. We did a few that way..and then she ended up admitting to me that it did just what I told her it would and could I please make them fit her snug as suggested.

Why are there no returns on customer designed custom orders?

Everyone is creative and all creative work is beauty in it's own right, however not all types or styles of jewelry fit within the aesthetic of my shop or speak to the customers I attract. I have created items very specific for some customers that are items I don't normally carry. It is often extra work sourcing materials that I don't normally use as well as I may not have the market for it at my shop. So as a general rule I say no returns on custom orders, however I am always very flexible and willing to consider it. It just depends on the situation. For items that custom created for just size differences or slight design changes..there is of course no problem returning those.

Is that real sea glass you found in Hawaii?

I use both authentic sea glass I have found myself and purchased from 'shellers' and cultured sea glass pebbles I purchase from a supplier.

Cultured sea glass is recycled broken glass tumbled and made to look like sea glass or beach glass. I use this mainly in my 'sea glass crocheted bracelet wraps'. It will always be disclosed in the listing details.

Authentic sea glass or beach glass will always be disclosed as well in my listing details. These will be often used in bangle bracelets and necklaces. I source my authentic beach glass from my own trips to beaches here in Hawaii as well as purchasing from shellers/divers here in Hawaii and other places. If the beach glass is not from Hawaii I will disclose where it's from.

I'm going to be on Maui can I pick up Jewelry?

Unfortunately for safety reasons I cannot make arrangements to have people come to my home to pick up jewelry.
