Who we are

We specialize in everything from hardwood flags and home decor to concealment furniture and military gifts. If you are looking for that perfect piece for your home or place of business or a special gift for someone in your life we’ve got you covered. Every product is handmade in our small wood shop at time of purchase, so you’re not buying something “off the shelf” you're buying something that was made just for you.

JonnyChapps Mercantile began in 2016 when we took our passion of woodworking and began sharing it with our family and friends. Today we are still making these one of a kind creations and sharing it with everyone - including you!

Frequently asked questions
I would like an image engraved, what format do you need?

The image will need to be in a Vector format (i.e. SVG, AI, ect) or a high quality black and white outline.

I would like a product you don't have listed, can you build it?

Please contact me and lets see what we can do!

My product arrived damaged, what do I do?

Unfortunately this can happen from time to time. But don't worry! Take as many images of the damage as possible and then file a damage claim with the shipping company that delivered it. Contact me and I will work with you to either replace it or refund you for repairs that you can get done locally.

I recieved my item, but the color doesn't match exactly with the product image, what's the deal?

Due to the nature of working with natural hard woods, colors and grain patterns can differ slightly from one build to the next. Because of those inconsistencies in the wood, no one product will match perfectly with the next - but will always be close.

I noticed the prices on you smaller items went up, is there a reason?

Unfortunately Etsy feels the need to compete with Amazon, Wal-Mart, ect and has forgotten who they are. In this pursuit they are forcing us to offer free shipping on all orders over $35 or rank low in the search results.

Now everyone knows nothing ships "free" so someone has to foot that bill. As a small business, every dollar in and out greatly effects those of us who sell on here. We already mark prices low to compete with mass produced items from large companies and other countries, so there was little wiggle room to begin with.

For full transparency, part of that shipping cost is now built into the price of the product. I am truly sorry, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
