I absolutely love Monferrina, it is super stylish and superbly crafted and it really sits so beautiful on the neck, reminds me of necklaces I used to wear in the past and couldn't find them in stores anymore. But I did in Joo! Another super on time delivery, too.

I love this ring for being so well fit and so effortlessly gorgeous with its yellow sun shine hue, which stands out being elegant and chic. And of course delivered very well on time.

About

Celebrating individuality...

~ Joo started off 15 years ago, by a young student who came across a package of clay and started experimenting with it.

First, she created a mask. She painted the mask with the colors of the sea, she added some fairy dust, a pirate’s charm, a wizzard’s spell, a forgotten melody and a little piece of the night’s dress in it… and then she wore it.

She suddenly felt tranquil. She was ready.

Ready to form clay into every shape she could think of, to paint it with the colors of her imagination and to create jewels that no one had ever seen before.

Jewels that would be created only once and would be handed to a special someone, along with some magic… ~

Over the years I came to realise that Joo, my firm, was a medium to communicate my art with the rest of the world. I'm inspired by people and art. Cultures, civilization, unique materials or techniques, art in all forms.

I always seek for new and unusual materials and ways to create handmade items that are made only once, thus creating a special bond with their owner.

My main project is jewelry making. Although at times, I make art dolls, ornaments or even clothes and bags.

The variety of materials I use for Joo is huge. Depending on what the item "requires" in order to have the special feel.

The journey to creation and searching never ends and what is art other than a path we take in a long and winding road to the unknown...

I believe in art. I always had, even at times when I didn't know what it was. Joo is the medium I use to turn my imagination into objects. It is my art, the art I want to share with people, so as to celebrate the individuality and beauty in each one.
