Joshua Smith spent nearly a decade living inside Sequoia National Park, where California’s wild places taught him to notice more than the obvious view.

Today he creates fine art landscape photography prints from Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, the Eastern Sierra, and California’s high country, often returning to the same locations across different seasons and years. His work looks beyond the familiar locations and iconic scenes, paying attention to the smaller details that give each place its character: changing light, passing weather, quiet forests, granite ridgelines, and the stillness that comes when you wait long enough.

Though Josh’s photography has been recognized in international competitions, the deeper motivation is to reflect what the Creator made and share that sense of awe with anyone willing to stop and look.
