JourneyTrust LLC is based in FL, USA. JourneyTrust makes an effort to fulfill orders that require third party services within the recipient’s country. We maintain criteria to select vendor quality, speed, and security. JourneyTrust policies do not apply to other parties including sales platform providers (Etsy).

Information collected in the order process and in correspondence with JourneyTrust may include name, email address, postal address, payment information, and product selections. Information is used for order fulfillment, customer support, dispute settlement, compliance to legal obligations, compliance with sales platform policies (Etsy policies), service requests and improvements that do not infringe on your privacy rights, and other services such as email contact if consent is explicitly provided. You may revoke consent for other services at any time.

JourneyTrust limits sharing of your information to sales platform compliance (Etsy requirements), service providers as needed to perform services, business transfer transaction if required, legal compliance. Legal compliance directs that JourneyTrust may collect, use, retain, and share your information under a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

JourneyTrust retains information as long as necessary for services fulfillment, legal and regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, agreement enforcement. Information retention generally includes a period of five years.

JourneyTrust stores and process information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. Information may be transferred between jurisdictions with varying legal protections. If information originating inside the EU is transferred outside of the EU a Privacy Shield service, such as Shopify Inc., is utilized.

Persons in the EU retain rights, some applied generally and some applied specifically, related to personal information, including:
Access - You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information JourneyTrust holds about you by contacting us using the contact information below.
Change, restriction, deletion - You may also have rights to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances including legal obligations JourneyTrust will generally delete your personal information upon request.
Objection - You can object to (i) our processing of some of your information based on our legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from us after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, JourneyTrust will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complaint - If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
