About

From humble beginnings...

When I originally started making jewelry nearly 7 years ago, it was purely for myself. I began with studying basic jewelry techniques, then implementing them to make my own adornments. As time went on, I began to uncover my own voice in my art. As I evolved, I began to sell pieces to friends and then tried my hand a local market. I had overwhelmingly positive responses from the public and decided to move forward as a designer and creative entrepreneur. Even now I look to advance my skills by learning new techniques and continue to challenge myself as an artist. I love what I do, and I am honored to have the support of so many clients, friends, family, and other creatives. It's an amazing journey and I'm continually looking forward to all opportunities it brings!

What lies ahead...
I am currently working on updating my shop daily. I have been traveling the art circuit primarily selling my goods in person. While I'll still be doing a fair amount of art festivals and markets, I intend to shift a considerable amount of what I offer to online. Soon, you'll find a wide variety of my core designs. However, most of my one of a kind pieces will only be available for purchase in person.

What you can expect...
I take great pride in producing quality jewelry. All efforts are made to create a unique, carefully crafted piece that will make you feel good wearing it. Your purchase supports my small business that I have been running full time for over 2 years now. It supports my family, our quality of life, and also my community.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

All brass and copper pieces will include a pro polish pad with your purchase. Brass and copper do darken and develop a lovely patina over time. I finish all copper, brass, and silver pieces with a microcrystalline wax that slows the patina process.
If you want a gleaming shine again, use the pad to gently polish. If you need a new pad, send me a convo with your mailing address and I'd gladly drop one in the mail for you, free of charge.

For polishing all other jewelry (especially earrings) I recommend using a product called a Sunshine Polishing Cloth. It's gentle and effective for any type metal.

If you have any questions about caring for your Jovy Rockey Jewelry, don't hesitate to ask!

Sizing details

Items are a variety of sizes. Please refer to the item description for the approximate length and width of each item. Due to the handmade nature of each item, all sizes listed are approximate.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items are packaged in a kraft gift box wrapped with a burlap string bow. It will also include a small 'Thank You' note.

If this item is a gift I would gladly include a note and a 'From/To' tag on the bow. Please leave details in the note to seller with your purchase.

I do combine items to reduce waste. If you are looking to have each item in its own gift box, please let me know in the note to seller when you purchase.

Custom and personalized orders

Currently, I do accept custom orders only for variations of current designs, i.e. a length or metal variation. Please send me a convo of what you have in mind and I'd gladly work with you to try to make it happen if I am able.
