On a Walk With God.
I started my business 10 years ago creating wood signs and silk floral arrangements while I was going to school for art education. I have always loved art but struggled because I could never really emplament all things that I wanted to within my art. While in art school I started being drawn to art that included words but I never acted on it, mostly because I couldn't convince my instructor to accept my visions. These visions kept coming and that is when I decided to start making wood signs. I LOVED it but it was a lot of work.
Fast forward a few year...I was asked to my shirt for a friend. For some crazy reason I had bought a seat press, I am still not exactly sure why I did but I agreed to do the shirt and the rest is history. I figured out what I really loved most about making signs was the designing process, not the building, sanding, staining, painting part. I was able to do more of it myself (without my hubby's help) and the process was much quicker.
I worked out of my basement for a couple years working mostly with HTV until I started getting busier and had larger quantity orders coming in. That is when I started ordering in screen printed designs. This made the process even quicker and had a more professional quality. Then after 2 year in my basement, we decided to buy a building on Main st.
We have been in our building for a year now and things are busier than ever. We purchased our own screen printing supplies, embroidery machine and fixed up the joint and things are really good. We pray that we continue to grow over the years to come and follow God's plan for our lives.
