About

A life time passion for making things

I started my Etsy shop in 2010 after someone told me about Etsy. I saw it as a way to indulge my need to make things.and people actually buying them and liking them is a great confidence builder

As a child I was always making things from household items or "making a mess" as my Dad used to say :)

My favorite creation was Dougal, a dog from a UK childrens programme called The Magic Roundabout .(in the early 60s)
I used a tubular plastic dishwashing liquid bottle and glued lengths of wool along his back and head for his hair and glued buttons for eyes and a red ribbon bow for a collar
I will always remember the sense of pride and joy I felt when I finished making him and showing him to my family.

Now I am over 60 and retired I want nothing more than to spend my time with my embroidery machine my vinyl cutter and sewing . I have come a long way and learned so many new things.

My values have not changed over the years
I still love making things and still feel that same sense of pride and joy when people like the things I make.
Happy customers are very important to me.

I am very very thankful to all the wonderful people who buy from my shop :)

I have always had a passion for making things. The thrill of getting an idea, and following it through is so rewarding.
