Announcement   Don't miss the other Etsy stores that I am a partner in:
Collector's Journey - http://www.etsy.com/shop/collectorsjourney
Mountain Robbins- http://www.etsy.com/shop/MountainRobbins

I’ve been a working artist for over 40 years, but now my focus is handmade glass beads, bronze metal clay and jewelry. The bronze work begins as a metal clay that I sculpt, carve, and form. When completed, the clay is dried and then fired in a kiln where the metal particles bond together forming solid bronze. I then work each piece to the desired finish. Colorful patinas and rough hewn textures help to create the “ARTIFACT” look that I am striving for. Combining our handmade glass beads with the bronze metal clay pieces of my own designs has opened another door to new projects.

Thanks for visiting my Etsy store. My partner Wayne Robbins and I create so much more than what is represented here in the store but we're happy to work with you if you are looking for something specific. We are active festival artists and have a wide range of work available besides what is shown here. You are welcome to contact us to see what we currently have available that is in our show inventory. We can be reached through Etsy or at: Judie [!at] MountainRobbins.com. Also check out our website/blog to see what we are currently working on. http://www.mountainrobbins.com for a larger selection.

Thanks!

About

Welcome to our world of Art & Whimsy!

We came together from rather different venues. Wayne from the world of custom auto restoration and myself from years in retail and as a multi media artisan. Our mutual enthusiasm for the creative process led us to where we are today.

Wayne is an accomplished glass artist & mixed media magician. He creates wonderful beads and sculptures in flame work glass as well as mixed media art.

I, Judie, design & create jewelry, make glass beads, work in metal clay and try to keep Wayne focused and with one foot on the planet at any given time.
New on our creative front is our latest work collaborating on the production of porcelain components and jewelry findings. We have always loved and collected handmade pottery and Wayne has turned to clay for several of his mixed media sculptural projects. Now we have brought clay into our world of jewelry. We are still very new to it but are feeling excited and stimulated about all the possibilities.
We enjoy sharing our work, our life style and our fun filled experiences. Wayne has a wonderful sense of humor, is a great story teller and has kept many of us entertained and laughing for hours on end.

We hope you enjoy our work and visiting our site.

Shop policies

We are collaborative artists creating one of a kind work in glass, metal, ceramic and whatever looks like it needs to be part of a current creative project. Most of our work is in the form of finished jewelry, sculpture or wall art. We do, however, have supplies of our own design (for example metal charms) available for others to purchase and use in their own creations. All our finished pieces are one of a kind and cannot be reproduced exactly but we can recreate many things in a similar fashion. If you have something specific you are interested in and you don't see it in the shop you can always contact us to see if it is possible. I can create reserved items for special requests. Contact me to discuss it.
