    Passionate about One of a Kind Custom Lighting Designs Handmade in our NYC Studio

    Our business started in 1995 working with wholesale clients, world-wide designers, well-known collectors, & retailers.

    Unique Objets d'Art are fashioned out of treasures we discover. We are market enthusiasts for the past 30+ years & are always on the look out for distinctive antique originals. These originals are then brought to our studio for painstaking restoration, refinishing and rewiring before they become our celebrated works of art.

    Our studio is highly recognized for its diversity in hand sewn shade designs, an eclectic collection including designs such
    as: Victorian, Art Deco, Mid-Century, Classic and Modern. Our lighting is created not only with a deep empathy for color, but also with intuitive care for fabric, whether they are gorgeous imported textiles or luxurious vintage fabrics. Our lighting receives meticulous and individual attention, during their creation at Judi's Lampshades Studio, which is dedicated to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

We take great pride in the quality of our workmanship and materials, including restoring and electrifying antique fixtures and lamps.

    Returns and exchanges
    I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations

    The following items can't be returned or exchanged
    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
    • Custom or personalized orders
    • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
    • Digital downloads
    • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

    Returns and exchange details
    If needed please ask questions, so that you know what you are buying.

    Most of our items are one of a kind, & if you are unhappy with your order for any reason please contact us within 3 working days of receiving your package. We will do our best to resolve the problem quickly. Refunds and exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis.

    Goods must be returned in original excellent condition, re-packed the way they were received.
    Please return items insured with a tracking #.
    Shipping & handling are non refundable.

    Credit will be issued after the item arrives back to us and is inspected. Upon receipt of returned goods, Judi's Lampshades reserves the right to deny any refund if the merchandise is not in selling condition.

    Our EU clients have up to 14 days for returns after receipt of purchase. Please contact me in advance to review the reason for the return. Returns are not accepted without prior authorization by Judi's Lampshades. Return shipping cost is paid by the buyer.
    Payment
    You do not need a PayPal Account to pay for your items through PayPal.

    You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the "Pay Now" button. On the right hand side of the next page you will see 2 options, the 2nd one is to pay using a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account.

    Please do not hesitate to contact us and we will assist you in anyway that we can, including if you wish to use a different payment method (checks & money orders).

    There is a 8.875% NY Sales Tax applied to NY residents.
    Shipping
    We provide fast and courteous delivery service & ship via FedEx Ground​ or US Postal Service: priority & ground services. Items are usually shipped within 3 working days of payment clearing. If you need faster just let us know.

    Please contact us for accurate shipping costs when shipping international. We use USPS International Priority Mail. If an item is over-sized please contact us for an accurate quote. International customers are responsible for customs/related fees.
