I'm a metalsmith. I make jewelry and art that, I hope, makes people smile. I love what I do and learn more with every passing day.

Frequently asked questions

Do you do jewelry repairs?

Yes, I will repair, resize, or rework most jewelry. Please contact me, I do require a consultation, prior to any work performed.

What is your design process?

Once I have a concept in mind, I typically begin with a rough sketch, to visualize and determine the actual feasibility of my idea. Sometimes I discover, at that point, my idea, totally will not work. Luckily, more often than not, it works, and more detail, including measurements, metal and/or stone selection, notes, etc pertaining to the look and construction, will be added to the original design. If the piece is custom, I will confer with the client and make changes and/or alterations, if needed. Once the sketch is finalized, I begin the process of fabricating the piece. The amount of time required, ultimately depends on the type of construction I’ll be doing, as well as, how complex the design. Lost wax casting is the most time consuming

Sizing details

Rings are sized on a standard scale. If you are unsure of your size, contact me for assistance. Necklaces and bracelets are sized in inches, which is noted in the listing description. I will resize, if possible, any item, per request. Feel free to contact me, prior to purchase, regarding sizing, and I will happily accommodate you.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I’m not very adept at wrapping gift items, but will go the extra mile to ensure the presentation still looks beautiful. Please let me know, if you’re purchasing an item as a gift. I will include a gift card and message, if desired and package the item appropriately. Everyone loves receiving a gift, so I’ll make sure, both you and the gift look good.

Care instructions

Jewelry is packaged with anti-tarnish paper, to ensure the item arrives in the best condition possible. It is identified as a small black square, within the heart box containing the jewelry. This paper will continue to be effective, for quite some time, so it can be saved or discarded, at your discretion. I tend to keep a few, floating around in my personal jewelry box, as insurance to avoid having to polish anything prior to wear.
